Spider-Man likes Elzar's Cooking Show

I was playing the new Spider-Man 2 game and in one of the fight scenes Spiderman actually quotes Elzar's catchphrase: "Let's knock it up a notch! BAM!!"

how did that get there?

btw its a nice game, swinging and leaping through Old New York....

Most likely he's quoting Emeril.

Elzar is a parody of TV Chef Emeril Lagasse, who's famous catchphrase is "BAM!  Kick it up a notch"  It seems like a large group of people never got that connection...

EDIT:  Beaten to it, of course...

Or maybe, Emeril is actually a parody of Elzar, and Spiderman is a big fan of Futurama.

Hooray for the new person Nex! But on topic, I imagine Spiderman saying "Knock it up a notch" and I can't think of anything quite as retarded. Who thinks up these things?!
