I was playing the new Spider-Man 2 game and in one of the fight scenes Spiderman actually quotes Elzar's catchphrase: "Let's knock it up a notch! BAM!!"

how did that get there?

btw its a nice game, swinging and leaping through Old New York....

Most likely he's quoting Emeril.

Elzar is a parody of TV Chef Emeril Lagasse, who's famous catchphrase is "BAM!  Kick it up a notch"  It seems like a large group of people never got that connection...

EDIT:  Beaten to it, of course...

Anyway, welcome to PEEL Nex.  Don't be upset if this thread gets closed, it's standard practice.

Yea you better run... (I cower to the nearest corner) Don't hurt me... please

BTW the thing Spider-man is saying is most likely coming from emeril

Or maybe, Emeril is actually a parody of Elzar, and Spiderman is a big fan of Futurama.

EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot. Welcome to PEEL, Nex!  :)

Hooray for the new person Nex! But on topic, I imagine Spiderman saying "Knock it up a notch" and I can't think of anything quite as retarded. Who thinks up these things?!
