If the show comes back, what network should air new episodes?

Either [adult swim] or Fox.  I think it would be a great way to kick off the 24 hr [as] channel, but that is for now just a dream on my part (both the return of Futurama and the all [as] channel)...

I'm not too familiar with all your channels in America but I guess I'd choose Cartoon Network 'cos I don't think Fox would deserve to have it. I'm happy with keeping it on Sky One over here though...

I would say Cartoon Network.  Because FOX treated it like dirt.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Sci Fi, but also relieved. As appropriate it would be for Futurama to play on Sci Fi, lately that channel's been crap and no one's watching it.
So.. Cartoon Network.

I would say Cartoon Network, but I only have public channels.  So, I would choose one ABC, CBS, or NBC.

I'm agreeing with KurtPikachu2001. Fox treated it like crud and Adult Swim got a lucky break. Cartoon Network should have it. But also, I think it should be on Comedy Central, before Fox.

I would either say Cartoon Network or Comedy Central. As others have said, Fox doesn't deserve such a great show, and it will probably be mad to see a show it canceled do good on another network.

True, but if it was on SciFi, it would pretty much be guaranteed to be their top rated show.

It's nice that you guys are mentioning networks like Cartoon Network and Sci-Fi, but do those networks have the money to air such visually complex programs as Futurama?

Second.
CN'd work perfectly for me, as I dont have access to your fancy channels in America..what with me being in Merrie Olde England 'n' all.
Sky One would be best for me though, as it already played host to some of my favourite shows, i.e. Malcom in the Middle and The Simpsons.  :D

Even though daydreaming is nice and all, we need to face facts. Which of these networks have a tradition of airing prime time animation and the necessary funds to finance a new production season? The answer is: only one, FOX (I could be wrong about Warner Bros. though, I really don't know that network). Hence why the new "Family Guy" episodes are produced by FOX with support from Cartoon Network.

If Cartoon Network can't finance a season of "Family Guy" on their own, what are the chances for Futurama, a markedly more expensive program. ABC, CBS and NBC don't have a tradition for animated shows, at least not in prime time. UPN has blown the wad on Enterprise.

I'd love for CN to get the show (since they actually treated it with respect), and in an ideal world I would've vote for them.

It's not on the list, but Channel 7 should air the last two god damn eps, just to give us closure. Especially Gleno. Poor man.

How come we can't daydream!? Ddaydreaming is practically all I do!!
Isn't the whole point the fact that it allows for a degree of impossibility and implausable hope!?What makes this interesting is our ability to imagine what the show would be like aired on particular Networks in an ideal world, stop ruining me fun :'(

Maybe Sky one might be an option? A slot infront or behind the Simpsons might work, depending on the ratings.

[as] on Cartoon Network would be best, partly because [as] is meant for the audience Futurama caters to, and therefore it would get good ratings and such possibly.

When I get rich I'll buy my own channel (FOX) rename it SalT.V. and play all the best animated shows back to back, I will primrily fund new Futurama, as well as Simpsons, South PArk, Family Guy and maybe King of the Hill if theres any money left.
 ;)

But i think Adult swim should have it (dosn't make any difference to me living in the U.K).

I never really understood South Park.  I would go with Futurama, Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, American Dad, and possibly The Critic.  I'll pry Matt Groening's brain when he's in the grave.

Everything Teral said? Second.

In a perfect world, Cartoon Network would get "Futurama" and give it the treatment it deserves. (Well, in a perfect world it would never have been canceled.) Unfortunately, I think the odds are stacked a little too highly against our beloved show and we'll likely never see it return. But maybe...just maybe, if we all close our eyes and wish reeeeeally hard...we'll still be completely screwed.

edit: All right! I'm a delivery boy! Er...girl.

Comedy Central wouldn't be so bad....
But I think that it wouldn't do as well as it would on CN, because most shows on Comedy Central are pointless but funny, and Futurama is rich in the story area, but not as funny as say, South Park. Becuase of this, I think that CN would be ideal (if they had the money), because Futurama is already doing good there.

Well, I would certainly like to see new episodes of Futurama on Adult Swim. (And talk of a 24-hour Adult Swim would be majorly cool, seeing as I hafta stay up until all hours of the night just to watch my favorite show!)  :( But, money-wise, I guess Cartoon Network probably wouldn't be able to support either of these wishes of mine. As much as I dislike FOX for cancelling Futurama, if they would bring it back and support it financially, I'd be OK with that. BTW: With all the references and publicity that Futurama and its cancellation have gotten recently, you'd think that someone would notice...

There still aren't enough shows for an All Adult Swim channel.  I think they're doing superb with an all week deal...

I'm going to cite everything Teral said as a reason to why Cartoon Network will never show new episodes of Futurama.

I always thought myself that as a genre definer/bend that Futurama is for Science Fiction that SciFi would be a great home for it.  However since SciFi doesn't own the rights, Cartoon Network owns some of them, and Fox basically has the trump cards, this probably won't happen either.  I'm sure SciFi would have the funds and the means otherwise to show the show if they wanted, then again... they have that ripoff "Trippin the Rift".  Can we get Ted Turner to bring his rich ass on this kinda deal?

Cartoon Network would treat the show with the most respect, but an 11 PM timeslot would be almost as bad as a 7 PM timeslot. There still wouldn't be enough exposure for the show. Any cable network (like SciFi) would be a bad choice, because, again, too little exposure. It's a possibilty, but of the two (SciFi and Cartoon Network) CN is the more likely candidate.

That said, I'd have to say that Fox should air it, because Futurama could actually be treated better a second time around (although not as well as Cartoon Network would), and, realistically speaking, Fox would be the most likely network (for both exposure and legal reasons).

Hmmm... this has got me thinking.  FOX would have to treat Futurama with respect, because if they didn't, it could probably go back to CN.
