A Leela of Her Own? Controversial!
I'm not making a list here, but a few of my favorites are...
Xmas Story War is the H Word Jurassic Bark (even with the emotional manipulation at the end, and having recognized it as such when I first saw the episode) The Farnsworth Parabox

I think "The Late Phillip J. Fry or Benderama. I really enjoyed Clockwork Origin and Prisoner of Benda, but these 2 are my personal favorites. The two I HATE like crazy is Yo Leela Leela and Holiday Spectacular.

How is "not sure" calling you a liar? If you think those are the best then you're sorely misguided, however, if those are your favourite then as you say; that's your right...

Does that not make them the best in their eyes? Please, I don't understand all this bullying against Benderloveer because they happened to have some 'controversial' opinions. Get used to it.

"Bendin' in the Wind" is actually one of my favorite Bender-centric episodes (the ones where he's made to be lovably pathetic--which also include "Crimes of the Hot" and "Obsoletely Fabulous"--are always more palatable to me than the ones where he's just being a big ol' jerk), and the subplot of the rest of the crew following him around like dirty hippies is hilarious. I wouldn't say it's among the best episodes of the series, but I think it gets a lot of unwarranted hate from a lot of fans.

Woot! I'm talking about the facts of a fictional show; it was time for some clarity here. I was not contesting the fact that those were their favourite episodes, I was questioning if serious because it was hard to tell. The reason I questioned this was because some of the chosen episodes are regarded as worst, and it seemed like an unusual cluster, although not all are that bad I admit. Once clarification had been made I felt that due to the nature of the wording used, the definition had changed from favourite to best. A statement was made, one which felt needed addressing... Did they say best in their eyes? No. Did they originally say favourite? Yes. That opinion was subsequently changed into a statement when converted to best. This is where I felt a response was required. I had also been falsely accused of having labelled them a liar, so I don’t appreciate another false accusation of being accused of bullying. I haven’t at any point advised them that they are wrong for choosing those episodes as their favourites. I have respected their right to that opinion. In terms of best, the very definition can often be interpreted as a subjective one, but I believe there is fact within the fiction, and mortar too...

My favorites: Bend Her Sweet. I thought I was the only one who appreciated how hilarious and absurd this episode is. With the possible exception of "Godfellas," I think "Bend Her" is my favorite Bender-centric episode of the series. Also: "I'm not gonna get my medals. They're all I have to remember my Olympic career!"

About the time when Lobstertainment was aired, Turner Classic Movies did a retrospective on a director from the silent era..
For the life of me I cannot recall his name...
'Very Tantilising Though.'

Well I've done a season-by-season list, so why not a top ten...
10. "Leela's Homeworld" 09. "The Devils Hands are Idle Playthings" 08. "The Luck of the Fryrish" 07. "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" 06. "War is the H-Word" 05. "Roswell That Ends Well" 04. "The Birdbot of Ice-Catraz" 03. "The Late Phillip J. Fry" 02. "Jurassic Bark" 01. "Parasites Lost"
These are liable to change (But not that often)
8 of those 10 would be on my list too I think. I would add Amazon Women in the Mood, and Lrrenconcilable Ndndifferences in place of Leela's Homeworld and Birdbot. Oh crap My Three Suns and A Fishful of Dollars is up there too.

I personally enjoy each and every episode of Futurama and have a really hard time trying to pick out just one but if i had to choose it would probably be "Obsoletely Fabulous" because Bender is great and in this episode he actually delivers a positive message at the end "I guess reality is what you make it" a quote that I try to apply to my everyday life. Well that quote and "I'm sorry guys. I never meant to hurt you. Just to destroy everything you ever believed in" yeah

The late Philip J Fry...that episode was just perfect imhO. - It had an Epic scale (travelling through the whole universe). - Reference to cult classics TIme Machine, Terminator and Douglas Adams. - They did take on a cult song (in the year 252525 was excellent) - It was basically a trio + Farnsworth Episode. Though Leela was not part of the acting group, they managed to integrate her in the story in a very intelligent way. A protagonists present...yep. - Excellent dialoges ("That was the late Fry..he is dead now") - And they kept on the running gag of Fry -upon completion of an epic task- does not look a 100th as good compared to what he just achieved: (What he did: He crossed the universe twice to get to Leela What she percieved: He forgot one lunch, and made it up with an expensive dinner. I think the first one would have sounded "a bit" more impressive )

1) The Sting (I seriously doubt I'll ever like an episode of anything more than "The Sting" in the history or future of ever)
2) Roswell that Ends Well (If you come in peace, surrender or be destroyed. If you're here to make war, we surrender.)
3) Parasites Lost (Of all the parasites I've had over the years, these worms are among the... hell, they are the best.)
4) The Farnsworth Parabox (They're all like, stop spraying me with ink, Zoidberg. Put on pants, Zoidberg. Don't touch our fancy box, Zoidberg.)
5) The Tip of the Zoidberg (This episode just aired last night, but Zoidberg's by far my favorite character, and I absolutely love how they expanded on him. If anything I can only see this episode moving up on my list.)
6) Fry and the Slurm Factory (Grunka Lunka Dunkity Darmed Guards...)
7) The Luck of the Fryrish (Dear Horse God, I know I don't usually pray to you. Sometimes I doubt you even exist...)
8) The Mutants are Revolting (Far beneath the everyday rumble of limousines and poodle feet there toil a downtrodden people even less well off than the upper middle class. The noble sewer mutants. For you see, generations of exposure to toxic sewage mutated them into HORRIFIC MONSTERS!)
9) The Deep South (Did it just get colder?)
10) The Late Phillip J. Fry (No! I can throw up on a stripper anytime. Tonight, I wanna not throw up. On you.)
After seeing The Tip of the Zoidberg, I'd also love to see Comedy Central sell a giclee print of Zoidberg and Professor Farnsworth sitting on the park bench feeding the owls! I would totally buy that.

My favorite episode for years has been Roswell That Ends Well. I think it will always be my sentimental favorite, but The Late Philip J. Fry was so perfect. The storyline, the animation, the perfectly integrated humor...the most touching moment to me, in ALL of Futurama, was the music they play when the Sun expands and swallows the Earth as Fry, Professor, and Bender look on. My God. That's deep, man.
