I feel like so few people give "Insane in the Mainframe" its due. To me, it's pretty much the perfect episode: a bit of pathos, a bit of ship, and a shitload of funny.

Uh, so I guess the point of this post was: Kudos, Parasitic Puppy, for having similar tastes to mine. Obviously, that's the highest compliment I could ever pay you. :p

Nooooooo, after 7 glorious years the old thread died...

Anyho, Parasites Lost is probably my fave at this moment in time, with Fry & The Slurm Factory, Roswell That Ends Well, and The Sting close behind...

... Shatner in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Christmas Special too?

I used to not "get" Insane in the Mainframe, but now it's one of my favorites. I need to rewatch everything because some episodes are running together in my mind now.

I love love love the final episode with Fry's opera. I watch it over and over all the time, it makes me so warm inside, and I crack up when he loses the hands, and goes rubbish again (hence my ID pic)
I do also really like 'The Sting' and 'Godfellas'. Those episodes that are just a bit out of the ordinary (more than usual at least :P) and memorable.

I've always really loved "Insane in the Mainframe." Then again, "The Day the Earth Stood Stupid" is usually a go-to episode for me. But the shipper in me says "Parasites Lost." I'm being ambiguous because this question is too hard.

And oh, hey, I'm de-lurking. Hello everyone :P.

I just watched Leela's Homeworld for the millionth time and I must admit I still cried a little at the end.

And on the subject of good episodes: I watched That's Lobstertainment recently and I don't understand why so many people don't like it. It's really quite funny and even has some nice emotional moments...

Similarly, Bend Her usually rates fairly low in many people's opinion but while re-watching it the other day I had forgotten how many great one-liners it has.

Calculon: I've never met anyone like you.
Coilette: Oh yes you have.

Calculon: But now all I want is a peaceful life and a quiet villa overlooking a vineyard… with you.
Coilette: (crying) Would we have donkeys?
Calculon: All you can eat!

Calculon: She lives no more. But let us all find comfort knowing that she truly loved me. To honour my pain, I shall star in a film dedicated to her memory. And this time the Academy will not deny me. Not when they see Coilette: A Calculon Story.

Calculon: (on TV) Coilette. Your death fills me with sorrow, anger, fear, every emotion an actor can display.

And let's not forget:

Bender: I'm so embarrassed. I wish everyone else was dead.

I think "Bend Her" is terribly underrated. As far as Bender-centric episodes go, it's one of my favorites.

And "Leela's Homeworld" is easily a top 10 episode for me. It's as poignant as "The Luck of the Fryrish" or "Jurassic Bark" to me--maybe even more so.

most of the episodes are crap with all the big goofy aliens and robots which appeal to children. i liked jurassic bark very much, but 98% of the ep's including the movies, is childish immature garbage.

I hope he's someone's fake account; otherwise, that'd just be sort of sad, getting your jollies trying to rile up a bunch of harmless nerds.

Topic: "Kif Gets Knocked Up a Notch." Underrated episode. Those who don't love it should rewatch it.

I have to disagree.  Just the thought of watching this ep makes me wanna throw up in my mouth and eat it.  It's so slow that I find myself trying to pick up the remote and change the channel.  Even though I'm watching a dvd

"Jurassic Bark" followed by "The Sting" and third would be "Luck of the Fryrish" (mostly for the ending).

I love Futurama for the humour but these episodes really deep and the first time i watched them was quite an emotional roller-coaster.

' Luck of the Fryrish', 'The Farnsworth Parabox' and 'Time Keeps on Slippin'' are the first ones that come to mind for me - "Luck of the Fryrish' makes me cry every time, I'm such a sap.

But I love almost every single episode, so its really hard to single any particular one out for being a favourite.
