I tried to make a label, but it turned out realy bad I think.



I also think that FOX deserves a can full with butry-acid (smells extremely worse than a stink-bomb), but if they find out who it was... O-o.

Now it's for sure, I am cursed! I always get these damn TOTP's!

The label doesn't look that bad, but you can't say that the Norwegion is angry. He looks more like a Thinking Norwegion, or maybe an Annoyed Norwegion.

Thanks for making the label.  It looks fine, and if they Norweigen is annoyed, then it must be because they cancelled Futurama, so it makes perfect sense to me!

Now the rest of you keep buying those anchovies.  You if want to have them go bad, then that is your business.  But the more people who send the most anchovies to FOX on the year anniversary of the shows cancellation, the bigger message we send to FOX that we fans haven't forgotten about the show and never will.

I like this idea... as opposed to all the other new ideas for making petitions... I'll spread the word, but I have to ask.  Has someone set up a central website for this thing?  It doesn't have to be special, just something someone can go to and read up on it and send emails if need be.

Mwahaha!  I just sent my mom to the grocery store for anchovies. I'll definitely be sending them. I'm not sure how much they cost, so I might just send them every other week until the cancellation anniversary. When is that again? Sometime in August...

coincidentally, i created a "livemarch" on that exact date. a livemarch is when everyone sends their emails/faxes/phone messages/etc. at the same time, so it's basically the same idea. we can use this to organize the anchovy... thing.

Great news zeep, and in answer to your question, I've read on this thread that if you punch a hole in the can, it could go bad.  But I'm not sure.

I really don't think FOX will bring back Futurama, because FOX hates Futurama no matter how popular the show was to us fans.  However, I believe Anchovies For Fry will send a message to FOX that as fans, we haven't forgotten about Futurama.

When Futurama was cancelled and on the day of final episode, FOX for the first time in a long time promoted the episode.

"Will Fry finally get Leela? Tune in to the Final Futurama."

That is what the announcer said and it had Leela saying, "I want to hear how it ends." and the scene with Tinny Tim with a newspaper had it read, Final Futurama. FOX had stuck it the face of all Futurama fans. Let's stick it to them. The treatment of Futurama's final episode was messed up. The treatment of final episodes for other shows, Fraiser, Friends, they get all hyped up and get treated like they're more important than oxygen and Futurama's final episode gets nothing. Nothing, but a "screw you" from FOX. So to the people who are going to get involved with Anchovies For Fry, you make sure to remember what I've said.

My only concern is that FOX gets the message that the anchovies, are a reference to Futurama.  Be sure to make sure of that when you send them in.  Knowing FOX the label alone, may not be enough.

i didnt really agree with the anchovies idea anyway. It isnt really a clear-cut reference to Futurama. FOX'd see it and just think that its some stupid prank or whatever and not even tie it to the show. We would have to find something instantly recognizable to the show, to at least show FOX what we're actually bitching about.

Not only FOX i think.
Also parts of the German ProSieben-Media AG (ProSieben is the channel that airs Futurama in Germany) and an Australian network I think.
He is pretty powerful when it comes to earth TV and called the mogul of TV.

Hey, we've got to stick to this. Some people have already bought anchovies, you know. What are we supposed to do with them, eat them!?! If you're worried they wont get it(like I said before) write "Bring Back Futurama!" in giant letters on your envelope. They're dumb but I'm pretty sure they're literate.

First post, yay.

I'd send the anchovies, and I'd use the label.  But to tie it in to Futurama, we could move the word 'Anchovies' higher and to the left and put a small image of the PE ship in the bottom right corner.  Or we could give ourselves a name, or something... Some name that could be abbriviated to spell something.  And use that as a sort of logo.  Or maybe a picture of Fry's head, and the words "Anchovies for Fry" circling around it.

Because the anchovie label is definitely coolio, but the people at FOX are fairly stupid.
