Last February my friend was staying over, and we watched "ANthology of Interest 1" on [as], and I was hooked...I remember liking something else, but I forget.And I THINK I MIGHT have had a life. But Futurama's cooler than real life. [Fry]Yeah. But TV has better definition than real life.[/Fry]

I'd have a lot more free time, and a fair amount more money. Futurama got me back into the Simpsons, so there is time and money on that side, too.

This reminded me of the episode of South Park that satirised directors' rejigging of their past films. Apparently the ep made Lucas and Spielberg reconsider updating the Indiana Jones series.

Now my point, does anyone know of a circumstance in which an episode of Futurama has adversely effected a decision or someones life?
