For those of you who read Electronic Gaming Monthly, look at the newest issue(June)'s Hsu and Chan comic. On the cantina sign "The Teetering Droid" is a robot who looks very familiar.

It's a magazine, like PC Gamer or Forbes or Playboy.

Yeah, I gave up on my subscription to EGM, and got the Official Xbox Magazine. Futurama was seen when the 2nd season came out, but I haven't seen it for the third.

*BIG Bump*

I just my new issue of EGM today and there was another Futurama reference, this time in the crossword section.

One of the spaces was a 5 letter word for "What Futurama's Bender does for a living" And the answer was simply "BENDS".

Just thought I'd share that lil tidbit.

Hey, it's the next best thing to actually having a real show to watch. It's barely been two days, and there are already nine posts in the thread about Futurama being in a Best Buy commercial. Now that I think about it, it is a bit sad.

I'm not going to name names, but a certain other message board for a certain band I love dose this kind of thing all the time, pouncing on the littlest reference like the last Tickle-Me-Elmo in the store during the XMas season of '98...or whatever. Anyway the point is this level of obsessive fanaticism permeates many circles of nerdom. Sad? Maybe, but gosh darn it if we don't enjoy ourselves!
