Howdy Everyone,

Only 2 episodes in season 4 show them on deliveries. D'you think it consentrates more on personal issues?

Yeah, i think Season 4 was more devoted to explaining Fry's existance and his developing relationship with Leela.(Hense, my 3 favorite episodes are in Season 4)

But I'm sure that deliveries were made. I mean, it is a delivery company.

Speaking of Season 4... does anyone know when it hits the shelf in North America?

In two episodes from season 4, they're actually sent out to get something and bring it back.  And they deliver something in "The Why of Fry" though we miss it.  So that's five episodes that at least show them on the job.

Still, the whole delivery concept was really just a plot mechanism to get them on other planets and in weird situations.  I guess in season 4 the writers thought of other ways to get stories going.

No official announcement yet, but it will probably be before the end of the year.

My thoughts exactly.  If all or most episodes had them making a delivery the shows would've gotten formulaic and samey after a while.

Maybe the Professor's plan of using a giant spaceship to deliver one package at a time was not as clever as he originally thought(blatant joke rip-off from game), so he cut back on deliveries to save fuel.

I kinda wished there were more deliveries in Season 4, but then again I also kinda wish there were more eps in it too. It's still a cloolsome Season though

Yea, I think there are like... 23 total, including some eppisodes written by Matt Groaning himself, and David X. Cohen.
