Ah geez, I remember reading one of Cohens interviews and his talk of such, getting giddy just at the thought and then realizing that it was over a friggin year old
So unfair...
*curses FOX incessantly*  :finger:

Anyways... I'd say, go with the new season(s), but make it shorter (say, between 6-10 episodes, like Red Dwarf  :D). Even if it were a one time deal, it'd be a safer bet than a movie, as they have a tendency to be sub-par  :(

Another thought occurs... A season is free, in the comfort of your own home, yet a movie is $8 or more, plus gas for getting to the movie, snacks, and dealing with irritating people around you

A movie. A new season would mean more eps., but some of the eps. might suck, and besides, a new season might not be the same as the earlier seasons with Frya and Leela an item. Make a movie or 3, have Fry and Leela get hitched, Amy graduate from Mars U, rebel against her parents and marry Kif, have Kif quit DOOP, have all the characters play a big part in the story, make it emotional, funny, epic and grand, wrap up ALL the loose ends and have a happy ending. There are a million possibilities for Futurama films, they could make AOI: the movies.

I think more episodes would be grand, however unlikley...
A movie could tie up all lose ends and give closure to us all! (as sad as it would be)

I'd like both, personally, but I doubt a Futurama movie would do too well at the box office (being something along the lines of a "cult" movie) so I'd have to go with the season.  A movie would just be a more expensive, longer, uncut episode.  Still, I don't have cable or satellite (sad, isn't it?) and to see movies at my city's theater costs about $3.  I don't know... I'll have to go with... NEW SEASON!

a new season, because,
if a movie suxs it suxs
but if an episode in the season suxs the episode suxs, not the season

Clever  :D

Actually what they should do is make the movies straight to dvd so if that is succesful fox would then have to bring the show back by making new seasons (but for some funny reason I think this show is being brought back anyway in someway)

hmm... maybe i already posted in here... oh well. here i go again:

a season would be better. a movie would be about 1:30 long, but a 20 episode season would be 400 minutes long. (about 20min each) plus 20 stories is better than one long story.

I'm only 3/4 way through season 2 of the DVDs(The Simpsons is looking worse by the day to me!!) so i'm gonna be all upset when i reach the end of series 4. I'd have to be greedy and say another 4 seasons. Trying to follw it on TV here in Australia was impossible because it got moved so much(same with King of the Hill and that mad show The Oblongs) Geez if only the good TV shows could be popular....

I went with a new season, although I think there are enough good ideas left to make 2-3 more seasons.

Yes, but with new episodes, you always have the risk that they might be bad. A movie might be our best bet. I don't know why...

So hard to choose... but I say another season. It would be/last longer than a movie, and more stories would be told.

A movie would rule though.

New season is far better, there'd be more hours 22*0.5hour > 1*2hour

A full length movie would be great, but a new season would be better! Twice the laughs, twice the cries, twice the deaths! lol

We've already seen what the can do in a season of episodes, I would want to see how they handle a movie.

I only want a movie to come out as the final Futurama thing ever, because I feel a movie would have the best closure.

A new season - although a full length feature also does have its attractions. Futurama is quite sophisticated, and it might be even more so if given more time than 20 minutes per story to elaborate the plot and develop the characters. So if I could choose, I'd take both.
