I have watched it for about 4-5 hours straight with my friends. We just sat there and did nothing but watch it.

I haven't anything better to do. I was too lazy to do my homework and the weather was bad. So that was a wonderful way to kill that day.

Well, the most for me is about 4 hours, but I'm planning an all-episode marathon sometime over summer...  :D

I just watched most of the commentaries... but it was over a couple of days.  I can watch Futurama longer than I can stay sitting on my butt.

Around 4-5 hours but not anymore. Too much work... but I usually get an hour or two in most nights nowadays.

It was when I got season one (I had S2 first) I watched them one after the other.

The most I've ever done has been about four hours, but that's only because I start late at night to begin with. I'm planning on doing an all-episodes marathon when the final set comes out.

This confuses me. First you say it's dumb to watch Futurama for hours on end, and now you tell us you watched for 6 straight hours. And after disencouraging people to watch it for hours on end, you say you can't be a bigger fan? Please, get your argument straight before making one.

1-2 is about as long as I'll watch anything.  When I got the DVDs, I'd watch a couple episodes a night.  I'd then watch them again with the commentaries on.  I ususally don't have time to watch more than 2-3 in a row.

Myself and a friend had a marathon...we watched them all in one sitting. 32 hours ish but were asleep about 2 hours around the 25 hour mark. The next day we couldn't think straight and were endlessly quoting it  :)

I've never watched Futurama for more than about 2 hours, but in the Summer I'll probably get bored and watch it for much longer. I’ve only just brought Season 3 and 4 on DVD.

However, I may well have been on the Peel message board for longer than 2 hours. Does anyone else think this board's addictive? Ever since I joined up a few weeks ago it just seems like I can't keep away, especially at the weekends. It's probably just me. Very sad I know!

About 6 or 7 hours I'd say. It was when I first got the season 1 box set. I stayed in my room practically all day. Aah, what a day that was

I think, at most, I've only watched one full disc at a time.  So that's like two hours right there, right?

Well I'm planning on having a Futuramarama with a bunch of friends next weekend. Anybody know how long all four DVDs worth of episodes are? By my rough calculations it should be about 26 hours.

That notwithstanding, the most I've ever watched in one sitting would have to be only about five or six episodes.

Yeah, I'm a lightweight. :P

mhh all 4 DVD Sets are 72 Episodes of 21:40 minutes each episode.
That are 1560 minutes, or 26 hours, so you're right.  :)

But it will take longer, because you have other stuff to do, like change the disk, bringing food and drinks, going to the toilet, and so on.
