I was trying to have fun but i guess you can't have fun on this site, no offense to the creators but every time i try to have fun on this site teral or someone else reports me, so maybe some people on this site should loosen up a little, just a suggestion that maybe a lot of people on this site should consider.

what would the world be like with no laws? no police officers? not fun, that's what.

Nice tactic. You have no arguements, so you just resort to name-calling.

AOLese? Check
Chatspeak? Check
Attrocious grammar and punctuation? Check

Judged on that and your posts I would say I have at least 15 years lead on you in the age department.

Thanks for the confidence, but I'm not a moderator, just an ordinary PEELer (with a custom title ).

I'm sorry but if you're idea of having fun is flaming other PEELers or similar rule breaking prepare for some rough times. I don't care what you call it, if I see something that in my opinion is pointless flaming, I'll make the moderators aware of it. What happens then is their decision. And no matter what their actions are I wont change my opinion about what constitutes flaming. Now if you have an urge to respond to this, my email address is listed beneath this post. Use that rather than continue to spam this thread. I wont respond to you in this thread anymore.

Sorry for dragging this thread offtopic, Zeep. I'm done here.

as for the other petition, 1: like teral said, he's probably given up hope by now. 2: there's no way to combine petitions without just printing them both out and delivering them together, and some of the sigs would be duplicates. so there's really no point.

sorry, everyone, i'll leave the advertisement on my site, but i've given up hope. unless it suddenly starts going up at a steady rate of about 500 sigs a day, i'm done.

There's your answer. Still feel free to sign though, it can't hurt.

That's true, but Futurama is a very expensive show to produce. A cable company like Cartoon Network may not have enough money to produce episodes at $1 million (or more) a pop. So, the most likely senario is a Futurama movie (preferably a trilogy) but it is still unclear as to if we will even get that. Keep your fingers crossed...

Well, for anyone still interested, i've found a site called LiveMarch, which honsetly, i'm not sure i fully understand what they do. so here's what the website says:

Quote
LiveMarch is a FREE service that lets you organize an online demonstration that uses Email, Web, Fax & Phone traffic to express support or protest on any issue.

Rally supporters you never knew you had. Coordinate them in sending a synchronized barrage of messages directed at any organization or individual.

so it seems to me like the coordinate everyone so we can all send faxes, phone messages, and emails, all at once.[/quote]

so i was setting up a demonstration, but i realized that i need FOX's address, phone number, and email address. (teral, you seem like the kind of person to help out here.)

so if anyone would provide me with this information, i would finish seting this up and we could get going!

askfox@foxinc.com is the address of Fox but is bombarding them in every possible way really going to persuade them that Futurama is really worth going back into production! I have already signed the petition though so I am still hoping!

FOX address, phone-number, fax-number, streetmap, the whole nine yards.

Email: askfox@fox.com is probably the best bet.

Shame it stopped, I signed it a while back. Someone should start e-mailing and asking all the owners of major Futurama sites to have a link to it on their page. We could probably reach more fans that way.

anyways, thanks, teral. i knew you'd come through! :D now we need to think of when to schedule our 'livemarch'. i was thinking sometime near the end of the summer, so plenty of people will have time to join.

but back on the topic i was just discussing, i'm trying to create a "LiveMarch" but i'm not sure when to have it.
the way it works, is anyone who wants to can join, and everyone prepares an email, fax, and/or phone message, and when the LiveMarch starts, everyone sends theirs in at the about the same time.

obviously, even with fewer supporters, this would be more potent than a mere petition.

but when to have it? i was planning on doing it later this summer, perhaps some saturday in mid-late august.

does anyone have another idea of when to bombard FOX with our plea?

How about either the release date of Season 4 DVD in R1 or (a better suggestion) the 1 year anniversary of the airing of the final episode. That's sometime late-mid summerish, and has some sort of significance going for it, too.
