I had seen other episodes before (including the premier) but I sort of stopped watching it.

Im sorry I was young and reckless!

But later on AS, I saw Leela's Homeworld and I absolutly fell in love with the show.

What a mushy sweet episode.

The first ep. I saw was " Fear of a Bot Planet" and I stuck with Futurama since then. I still like that ep. today. Also, I'm with Cloud 9 because I never watched Simpsons before Futurama.

I saw half an episode of the Simpsons once before I saw Futurama,  I still don't  like the Simpsons.

Love & Rocket. I couldn't stop laughing during that. I watched a few eps from the first season, but then forgot about it, and found it again on Adult Swim.

I've been watching ever since it first came on Aussie TV with Space Pilot 3000. I saw every episode (although I missed Hell Is Other Robots) and thought it was an alright show. It gave me a few chuckles, but it just came across to me as sorta lame and immature - so I still wasn't fully into it...

Then, in early 2003, I saw War Is The H-Word and couldn't stop laughing. Right from the "War were declared" part, this episode made me burst into uncontrollable laughter countless times, especially with Zapp's hilarious lines. After this episode, I was hooked.

Since then, I've gone back & watched every old episode again, and I can't believe I didn't like the show sooner. I really missed all the good jokes the first time around, and it's now my favourite show - second to South Park in the laugh/sattire department though.

I liked it from the first but often forgot to watch it. It wasn't until series 3 and greats like AWITM and Parasites Lost that I got into it in a big way.

It was probably one of the following:

A Flight To Remember
Parasites Lost, or
Insane in the Mainframe.

Don't really remember which one, TBH.

From the beginning I watched/taped until Hell is Other Robots, then for a while I didn't watch. (mostly because I thought they wern't showing any new episodes) When I learned they were showing episodes on Cartoon Network I got a tape and taped almost all of season 2 and what season three episodes I didn't have. But when I learned they cancled it, that's when I started really appreciating it, that's also when I started hating KOTH. I taped the rest of season four and got the DVDs.

I love Futurama, hate KOTH.

I find it too simple. I'm fond with the Simpsons, but my brother is the big fan of them. Where as I rest in the grave of Futurama.

I missed SP3K back when first shown and I didn't really get into the show until Adult Swim. So I'm a latecomer.

Any particular episode that sealed the deal for me? Probably "Farnsworth Parabox."

Originally it was My Three Suns, then I stopped watching since it was pre-empted so much. Then my friend was talking about it and I realized it was still running (I thought it was cancelled). The episode that got me going then was Amazon Women in the mood.

I watched Space Pilot 3000, when it first aired on Oz TV, and thought its funny but Simpson's is still better.  I followed it for a bit and began to watch a few more and it got funnier and funnier, i taped one ep on time record cuz i was out and it happened to be, 'My Three Suns'.

After changes of days and time slots, it was hard to keep track of and i lost interest.  But was going through my tape collection looking for something else (and as always u find things when ur not looking for them)and found that ep, and it cracked me up and is the result of me buying Season one on DVD which lead me to buy seasons 2 and 3, and yet to be 4.
2 things made me crack up which are as follow's.

Lela - Bender, ur's gonna be a cook? But
       Robots don't have taste.
Bender - Lady, i wouldn't talk about taste
if i was wearing that lime green
         tank top.
Fry - BAM!

AND

Bender - Relax, that meal was 10% less then a leathal dose (of salt)
Zoidberg - O oh, i shouldn't have had seconds.

I was hooked when I first heard about it on telly. I saw the pilot and many afterwards. Itwasn't until I got my first season dvd boxset that I became a hardcore fan, if you will, which was around Jan 2003

That it should be. Who doesn't like a science fiction, historical, joke episode? Especially one with such a disgusting paradox...  :D (Oh by the way, it's the reason I'm hooked too... even though I've mentioned that on this thread already)

Of course, Professor Farnsworth has always been my favorite character since I got into it, with Bender following close behind ( hard choice).

In the four years that Futurama was accurate, I have only seen three episodes. And two of them  (WMIBACIL & Leela's Homeworld) I had no clue what the show was. The third one (Farnsworth Parabox) I was familiar with it and I was watching it on Adult Swim at the time and still do. But a couple of months after it got cancled I went to go watch a new one on FOX and didn't realize it was cancled. Than I went to IMDb.com, damn! If my memory was better I would have seen it more on FOX!

Oh, I haven't posted here yet ?!?

I've seen Futurama from the German start on, but forgot about it after the first season.

Then I got readdicted to it by watching "I second that emotion" on a winamp stream last year.

Aslate's Peelfaq seems do be down, because the whole alltoons.co.uk server is down    :(.

Luckily aslate has a copy saved somewhere on his home server: http://thefryhole.no-ip.com/tfh/peelfaq.php

Sadly the other link you gave Y_L_B doesn't work either    :(.
There is a "/" missing in the end of the url.  ;)

2 episodes got me hooked:

The Problem with Popplers and Hell is Other Robots.
TPWP was the first ep I saw and I liked the humor in Futurama. HIOR I liked because of Bender and the "Robot Hell" song  :)
