Are there threads for series 2,3,4 and/or 5?

It was a tough call between Space Pilot 3000 and Hell is Other Robots, but I had to go for Space Pilot. It was just the perfect first episode, from start to finish.

I, Roomate was the best in the first season, or possibly Hell is Other Robots - I agree, the song was great!

I love season one too. the episodes actually have an order to them that you can't swap around. The continuality of them is unparalleled. to me all the other episodes from season two on could be swapped in any order, that is why fox did it. aside from a few select episodes like anything flexo for example.
also, it is just plain good stuff in the first season, comedy, romance, drama, adventure, and fry being stupid. i loved that part in loves labours where leela has the four legged mimic creature near her, and fry fun over with the net, he throws it on her and not the creture. NOW THAT IS STUPID! AND FUNNY!
it is just plain all round the best season. you can't beat it, unless they make a season with all the rest of the episodes. all of them seem a bit interrelated as they involve shippyness 7-10 times, so that could be interesting if they ever get around to showing them.

The Pilot for this show was the best pilot I have ever seen. I recently saw the Pilot for Family Guy, and saw how to not make a good pilot. The shows great and all but Futurama kicks it ass.

This is heresy, I know, but Space Pilot was only "OK" in my opinion. I joined the dance later than some and only saw Space Pilot the first time when it aired on Cartoon Network. I knew the whole plot and all of the jokes before I ev er saw it so that probably made it a little less magic in my eyes, but I don't argue with the overall quality or historical significance.
But - the poll was for "Best Episode" and that normally means "laughs per minute" for me where Futurama is concerned. Here it was a close race between "Series Has Landed" (that whaling song gets me every time), "I, Roomate", "Loves Labor" (any Zapp and Kif episode)and the winner of my vote:
"Fear of a Bot Planet"
Way too many jokes, both verbal and visual that were lauch out loud funny, and arguably the funniest final joke of any episode with the party stills. Who knew a broken bottle to the throat and the resulting bandaids would make me laugh again and again.
If we were voting "production" season, the final four would have made this decision even harder (I love Zapp, Robot House, Lrrr and Slurms McKinsey), but "Bot" will always be one of my top Futurama picks.

Ummm...My Three Suns just beats Love's Labours Lost In Space.
One of Stewart Burns' better episodes.

It was either 'My Three Suns' or 'I, Roommate' for me. 'Space Pilot 3000' is the best pilot episode I've seen but I don't think it measures up to the rest of the season. In the end I went for 'My Three Suns' just for that dinner scene.
"This is Bender's first meal and he's a little sensitive so let's be supportive, okay?" "Okay." "OH DEAR GOD!!!"

It was a tough choice between I, Roomate, and My Three Suns, but in the end I voted for My Three Suns because it was a lot funnier.

"A Flight To Remember" as it's code is 1acv10, which makes it production season 1.
