I think there is some horrible conspiracy behind the scenes, which is partially revealed in the "devil's hands are idle playthings" episode.
I mean, at first glance, it seems to be a round episode, but if you look it correctly, you will see, it's just the foreplay.
Lets see the arguments:

1,. The devil was obviosly trying to draw away the attention from the siple fact: the deal he made with Fry was no fair deal at all, since he didn't gain anything on it. I wont eat that "just a sort of guy I am" thing. On the other hand, he tried to make us believe that it was only coincidental, that
he had to swap hands with Fry, however exactly that was his plan!
Expanation is simple: as everyone know the Standard Diabolical Exchange Agreement (hereafter referred as SDEA) require all affected parties to agree, therefore the devil was not in the position in offering any other robots hand, except for his own. So it is clear, his plan was to give his hand to Fry, and make it look like a ironic concidence.

2,. Therefore, when he said his plan is one quarter complete after he installed the horn on Bender, he ment his original plan, on which, it was the second step, so we can figure it out that it is really an 8-step-plan on some larger scale, however he wanted us to think its only a 4-step plan to take his hand back! (1,. Temping bender, 2,. Making Bender deafening Leela 3,. Offer ears to Leela for his hand 4,. Force Fry to surrender his hands)

3,. Inspecting the last deal, you have to realize, that Fry had to get something in exchange for the surrendering the devils hands, and if it not obvious, I tell you: he got Leela's SDEA about her hand! So now Fry has a signed SDEA from Leera to marry him.

4,. Considering 2,. and 3,. it is clear, that the devil wants them to come together, as it is a part of his plan(1). And not just come together, but marry, and ... guess what ... make children! I only realized this after long hours has passed searching the internet, and I have found some ancient prophecies about ... the first coming of the antichrist. And it sounded like: "And he shalt come, as a children from a man who is his own grandfather ... .... and he will have one eye ... one eye to bind them all ....".

5,. It is quite clear, and proven that the devil's plan to arrange the first coming of the antichrist, which is quite frightening.

(Others)
Please forgive me for my error, may they be grammatical, or spelling, as I am no english...
(1) In the "Time keeps on Slipping episode" have you or have you not noticed the unmistakable triangular head-shadow on the wall with horns just before they get married? I'm sure Fry's idea to make a love note on the sky was in fact the devil's idea.

First of all, welcome to PEEL ha, ha, I said it first!
In the words of Bubblegum Tate, "Woah, slow that brain train down!"
Actually, that's really cool, and I've never noticed it before. You may have went a bit overboard, though.

...oookay. That's what we call reading too much into something.

Anyway, welcome to PEEL, make sure to read the PEEL'ers FAQ over.

Thanks a lot, I was in a hurry to inform you, so I forgot to say a few greeting words.
If for some strange reason I suddenly disappear, tell my GF, hello!  :)

Welcome to PEEL. Wow, that must've taken a loooong time to figure out. Hey, man, how much time do you have on your hands?

So, Fry and Leela's child will be the antichrist?

Clicky.

Sounds about right.   :p

Thanks, but actually the most time-consuming part was the internet-searching.  :)
I do not have much time, BTW, partially because I have to work a much, and partially, because they (my hands) are touching me in places...  :)

Too many elipses spoil the quote.  By picking select phrases out of a quote it's easy to twist the context.

Bullshit!

1)IMO Leela and Fry had been growing closer since L&R, irrespective of the evnts of the final episode.

2)For that plan to work, the Nibblonians would have to have been in on it as well.

3)This is what I mean about subtexts within subtexts.  MG and DXC are great writers, but I doubt they thought out the series in THAT kind of depth.

4)Oh, for crying out loud!

Excuse me, everyone, it seems I do not know the customs good enough, of course the post was intended as an entertaining one, and not a serious.
Of course I did not mean it. And there is no such prophecy at all.
I just thought the arguments itself (like SDEA) will make it clear for anyone.

Thank God you told us before somebody spent quarter of an hour searching for the Robot Devil's shadow in "Time Keeps On Slipping"...

Not that anybody'd be sad enough to waste their time like that...

No sirree...

*everybody looks at Fred*

*Fred blushes*

Nice one Bender145th.  Of all the time's I've been humiliated on PEEL, this is by far the funniest.   :)

And it wasn't a total loss.  I've just spent fifteen minutes staring at Leela in her wedding dress.

interestinig thought, that might have fit a bit better if they had the name be Doomsville. but if there is a triangular shadow with horns on the wedding wall, which im going to check for right now, ide be compelled to think what there might be going there.

May I say nice one Bender145th, also welcome to PEEL (I know it's slightly late).
I doubt that they would make it such a complicated conspiricy, as they probably wouldn't have expected to have anyone search into it that much, BTW how long did you spend figuring all that out?

I have a habit of making people feel less stupid, I don't even know what in hell I was going on about, leave me alone I've been up all night, watching Futurama! I blame too much Futurama for rotting my brain cells, I miss the days when I used to be smart.... **sighs**

Thanks for the welcome, her majesty, but as I said earlier, it was supposed to be an entertaining post, not a serious (factual) one.
So I don't believe it either.
And it took about 15 minutes, while I was going to work...

What?!?!? When I said nice one I meant nice prank! Also I meant it was obviously a joke because they wouldn't spend so long writing such a long conspiricy!
Now I feel really stupid for not knowing what PCC Fred meant, I only just got what he was talking about. Also please don't double post Bender145th, I think someone has already linked you to the PEELer's FAQ, please read it.

Maybe you've had too much booze.. or is it not enough... I don't actually know which way it works anymore.
I'm not joking, or quoting, I'm serious.
Though I do have to wonder if I'd have thought you were serious if I hadn't read the entire thread first...... **ponders**

Welcome to PEEL. Hurrah for bordom and coming up with wild and obscure prophecies like that. I started thinking about so many possibilities over Parasites Lost it made my brain hurt, why and who and where and how. I loved the whole nibblonians/WoF prophecy that they had planned it since day 1 - genius. *reads parts of the bible* woah, the prophets were on something, Bender154 was right all along
