We don't slap newbies right on the head usually, altho using the kif avatar and that name is daring here for historical reasons   ;)

anyway, i want to see more amazonia ...
they are doing space traveling, they should make more appearences. now a borg like amazonian invasion ...   :D

Generally, it's not a good idea to repeat yourself so early in your series's run... but I wouldn't  mind a retrun visit from either Beelzebot or the Amazons...

Ultimate Robot Fighting, Ally Mcbeal, mermaids, and factory tours were explored enough, I think. Another episode about these subjects would be too rehashey.

Having Dan Castanelletahassapeemapetulan on again would be cool, but I didn't care for the Robot Hell episode.

Having the Amazonian women might be cool, but I don't see what more they can do by going back to the planet. Again, it might be too rehashey.

That leaves the black hole and the sewer mutant ideas. I vote for sewer mutants. The writers didn't do a whole lot with them in I Second That Emotion. A second episode about them could be good. Plus it's the most likely scenario, assuming the rumors are correct and those mutants really are Leela's parents.

the drawn picture didn't look evil enough for an admin without the borg extensions   ;)

anyway, on topic...
repeating too early might not be good, but I'd like to see some "beyond episode borders" plots, like, as i said, the borg threat of ST:TNG back then which was done well (with the romulans having troubles "on the other borders" which turned out to be the borgs and such (was it romulans? oh well)). But i feel that futurama scripts are handed out individually and only small briefings are done like "those two slept with each other".
Such a theme shouldn't dominate episodes yet, but they could pop in now and then. Like the aliens eating humans right now (human grinds, "you want humans", Alien language for human meals), just a little bit more story like.

first of all - they dont have to go to amazonia - the amazonia's can envade earth or something. secondly, i didnt mean the sewer mutants - i meant the sub-sewer mutants - the one that are in the toilet inside the sewer - they're supposed to be cool.  :)

stop being so bloody serious everyone - i would not care which one it was so long as it was funny!!! and what with it being futurama it probably would be (although i voted for the single female lawyer episode as i want to know what became of the "professional beach bully"....)

   :evillaugh:

anyway the first half of the sewer mutants episode was the best and the second half was shite - i mean more of the emotion chip in different circumstances may be interesting......

What about the parallel universe? Was that a throw-away joke, or do you think we'll see a future episode involving Cowboy Fry and Bender?

Seeing how no one really wants a Simpsons/Futurama crossover because of the unrealistic view. How would they meet? I thought about the Simpsons ep "A Star is Burns", and a Critic/Futurama crossover would be easier to do. Seeing how they don't make any new Critic episodes, it wouldn't ruin anything. The fact that both shows take place in NYC makes even more sense and shouldn't be overlooked. In the 1st act, you could have Fry deliver a pizza to Jay Sherman in the year 1999. Then somehow Jay gets frozen, ends up in the future, runs into some Futurama characters..and as Bart said in "The Front".."the rest writes itself."

um, silent_g? what does this have to do with the post? and a cowboy parrller universe ep would be super cool! (what if the brick wall between will break, and everything will get mixed up? actually, maybe leela will let fry drive, and fry will screw it up by crashing into that wall and dmaking the two worlds collide!)

There's one or 2 things in that poll that actually do have comebacks in season 4. Heh heh.

Ooh!  Y'mean it, Sarge?  Yippeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!  :D   I have an idea of one, based on two semi-spoilers at Fox's website.  I'm pretty sure they'd end up linked.  It could be a two-parter!  And let's not forget a little LFRism...   Aw, c'mon for ol' Theta?  Just a little?  No?  Oh, you're gonna make me cry...

Well, I can't go & say stuff outright like I used to. So I gotta encrypt it all into little packets of semi-partial info. Besides, nothing can replace seeing a brand new episode that's completely fresh & unknown. All I can do here is fire up your imaginations without revealing any plot material.
By the way, I only know the plots of the 3 shows I've worked on so far, & about 2 or 3 others that I haven't worked on. There's still 8 other episodes that will be brand new to me when they air. And I like it that way. Knowing everything beforehand just plain sucks. Sure, we get to see the extra stuff before it gets cut from the show, but we remember the rest of the show, & when it airs, it's sort of bleah. I want 'fresh'!  ;)

I'm a character layout artist (key animation), not a storyboard artist. :b

I can't give out titles or synopses of un-aired shows. I learned that the hard way. It ended my 10-year gig with the Simpsons. But I was ready to move along anyway.

Of course you need proof, Langly. I'd say the same thing if I were you. Hmmmm, that means I'm gonna have to drag out one of my Emmy plaques & webcam it & put the pic up on a server & post it......just for you. If you were around about 3 weeks ago you could've just looked at the comp drawings I did on the Simpsons that I posted on this forum. But I can only keep them up for a limited amount of time, so they're down now. Ask any moderator here about the pics, & they'll tell you. Okay....I gotta get that plaque now...

What kind of a name is sarge anyway, really now?

more to the point, I think all the choices in the poll, basically, suck.  I hate to act like a big nerd  but really, see FJ's post and i agree with it all except the part where he actually voted for something.  If i had to choose, the mutants would be the best i guess as they could always have a wide range of plots/sub plots/gags.  But the robot devil sucks!  Why don't you guys realize that? Oye.

Sarge is a military name! Salute when you talk to me!    My great grandfathers' last name (on my mothers' side) was Sargeant. So they made it my middle name. Since I had the same boring 1st name as my father, & no one wanted confusion, they called me Sarge. And it stayed! I like it.   :)

Yay!  Teeheehee.  I've already got a picture of how it'll work if the story involves some human emotion that sentimentalists like me can't get enough off.  ::Theta's eyes get all glazed over as she thinks about it::  Naw, don't make it just slightly sentimental so I'm the only one who feels sad.  Otherwise, my family'll be making fun of me again.  It should either by sentimental along the lines of PL.  Oh, who am I kidding?  I'll look like an even bigger ninny.  But a ma-er, woman can dream though.

Cool, your name is Sarge...I thought you were a man of mystery, hiding behind a screen name and working up us nerdy fans with vague details about upcoming episodes.

That's awesome though. How many people get emmy certificates? I assumed they just went to the producers, but I see you lowly animators get them too.  ;)

One where leela finds out about who her people are, might be interesting, but then it could mess stuff up, of couse some time distortion could always make her forget.

i thought of a really good one - what if bender leela and fry kinda got "reversly frozen" and got back to the 2000? that would be cool as one of those epidoes where in the end fry or bender or someone wakes up and we realise its only a dream. (or maybe we can find out the the "what if" machine still works! yay!  :))

I vote for the sub sewer plot, ever sinse watching I Second that Emotion I've been dying to see whats down in the sub sewer, there must be all kinds of junk down there.
One thing I would like to see in future eps is the crew travelling to more planets in our solar system like Pluto, Venus, they could travel to Saturn & use the astriod belt as part of the plot somehow.
