a. In regards to the merger of a non-profit and a commercial institution. . .

The project that would result would not generate profit for the organization. The joint venture is fine, the only time in which the relationship would cause jeopardy to the non-profit's relationship with the commercial institution is in the case that the product that is developed .generates money beyond operating costs.

b. In regards to the legitimacy of requesting money from the National Endowment. . .

This grant is according to Dana Gioia
the chairman for the National Endowment for the Ar, "Our grants support the development, production, and distribution of arts programs that collectively reach millions across the country. From new film documentaries to popular radio series, these programs enrich lives by bringing the best of the arts into American homes. The National Endowment for the Arts is proud to support programs of artistic excellence in this field." I am sure that an emmy award winning show would fit into the category above especially if it is contributing to the education of up and coming writers, animators, producers, editors . . . etc.

(I suggest that you consult your biology notes for your paper. Check the section on the scatophagous. It might not be incredibly helpful but I have a feeling that you will find it compelling regardless.)

Now, no offence to you and your little fantasy world. But pets die, great shows get cancelled, not everyone is generous and kind and good, i knew that by the time i was eight, you won't manage to convince everyone it is a good idea just by posting the same nonsensical ramblings repeatedly, if you really believe you can do this then you are more delusional than even i am. Doing the equivalent of putting your hands over your ears and shouting 'La! La! La! I Can't Hear You!' does not make the fact that Futurama is gone and it is never coming back any less true. Now go back to happy fantasy land... it's obviously quite fun for you in there.

agian i dunno wat i'm talking about and it might not make any sense
as somebody said before fox owns futurama rights so if they still....o nvm, but i wish they did air it again, and why do they hate futurama? (you dont have to answer that)    :hmpf:

FOX owns the copyright, if new ones were made by FOX Adult Swim would have to buy the rights to air the new ones as they have only paid for S1-4.

Well, I'd assume a 1450 on the SAT and 700 on SAT II Literature would mean I had rather good comprehension...

I'm not a great fan of flame wars, which is basically what this is becoming (I guess I'm as guilty as you), but I'd be delighted to continue this conversation - why don't you email me?

You're the one who has comprehension problems.

DId anyone see the episode of "Angel" last year, a couple of episodes after Jasmin's arrival, where the episode begins with a Beach Boys song and everyone walking round deliriously happy?  That is tedious's world.

Maybe al'Qaeda will fund Futurama if we ask nicely.  That Osama bin Laden seems a pleasant enough fellow to me.  :)

The first three is because I just got tired to trying to stitch multiple quotes into a single post.  The fourth one was a joke.  Just like this thread.  If tedious thinks his plan has any hope of getting Futurama back on the air, he's in for one hell of a disappointment.

Actually, I can see the movie forming in my head as I type. To begin with, she's repulsed by the bloke, but then he starts writing her love letters to keep up the ruse, and she falls in love with him. Only trouble is, he's not interested in her, and now she has to do something bloody spectacular to win his heart...

Hey, that could work. None of you saw nothing! Don't go stealing my idea now!  :p

I was going to just let this thread sputter out and die, but no, you people had to keep spamming it up.

And tedious, if by some freak miracle you manage to pull this off, best of luck to you.
