I had a dream about Futurama last night. My dream was almost exactly what I want to write my fanfic on. In it Fry, Bender, and Leela were picking up a paper pile outside of Botland Yard. Fry was disapointed that this mission wasn't a detective mission like he had hoped. Bender suggests that the Professor is going senile.
Then the trio spot Walt, Larry, and Inger doing the same thing they're doing. Fry and company walk up to them and ask what they were doing. Walt, Larry, and Inger were dressed in leather jackets, baggy pants, hiker boots, and t-shirts. Walt and Larry say they are on a mission from Mom as undercover cops to look for a missing diamond. Bender insults them by saying, "I'll say you're undercover! You guys all look like you've got some Bryan Adams thing going on!" Then Fry sees an opporuntity for a detective mission. Leela and Bender challange Mom's sons to see whoever could get to the diamond first. Leela asks Bender to get the bag, then Bender asks Fry to get it and Fry gets the bag full of papers they were picking up unbeknownst to them there was a hole in the bag and all the papers fell out as Fry was running to catch up to Leela and Bender. Then Inger does the same but only complains about a scraped knee! Then I woke up.
And this I dreamt about was an actual scene from the fanfic I will write whenever I have the time.
