I really hope your "WOW WOW WOW" subject line wasn't because you thought this thing was an original!

But, it's kind of interesting how much some random guy can exploit this (and what a coincidence, on the same day  the post with a fake Matt Groening was bumped from 2001).

But the whole description of Matt doing the drawing on September 11th is a bit insensitive, if not disturbing.

I don't know... all in all I just think it's a bit annoying.

Heh, I remember seeing this a LONG time ago when someone linked to the ebay auction at the No Homers Club.  In any case its clearly a joke, much like the people who sell dryer lint, dog feces, etc just to prove they can sell something so stupid on ebay.  I think its a hilarious picture personally, and I don't have any reason to believe that Groening would take it too seriously either.

the quality of those drawings are horrible, its not groening calibur. some fiend is trying to be stupid, and hes done a decent job of it.

I think some people need to look more carefully at that picture and page.  Its obviously just a joke.  I don't think the person who tried to sell it ever thought people would actually think it was real.

Honestly, the man trying to sell that must be incredibly naive. Would Matt Groening, known world wide, have succeeded in making several animated shows if he drew like a four year old?

of course its a joke, have you read the entire page, hmm i sure a guy in his older years would be calling people "dicks" and "retards". this guy is completly screwed up, his email is mastarofdisastar@yahoo.co.uk, i presume unless the guy has put someone elses email, but ill test, that guy is really fugged up. he makes me angry,
