being a conessieur in blame, its easy to pointe to fox for removing something i hold dear such as this wonderful series. but some of the audience should not get off so easily, alot of people never gave the show a much deserved first viewing...many a time people have looked at my silk screened zoidberg shirt complimented with leela and fry, which such merchandise cannot be found...and they say "oww wow, the simpsons" i tell you its hard to hold back any concealed weapontry i have on at the time. its obviously a groening image, but such arrogance to dismiss such godlyness of futurama is unexceptable.
perhaps fox should have given it a better prime time slot, and not flopped it without giving it that. those who prefer the simpsons are evil, arrogant, they need to be shown the futurama show... convert the masses, take up arms...tonight  my friends, we storm fox.

or maybe i should go to bed.
my vote is shot at fox.

It's a easy mistake to make, the "w" and "p" keys are right next to each other on the keyboard.

Oh, wait...

And who the hell are half the people on the list?

Fox canceled it, obviously their fault.
The Commies couldn't care less except Nurdbot who watched the show.
The audience can't be blamed since they watched it.
Fox stockbrokers ? They care about money, not stupid tv-shows. This is a stupid option.
The runnymede trust ? What the hell is that ?
The Character's AI programmes, what could that have to do with the cancelation ?
Politically Correct People, who would they be, the Fox board ?

And that is why Futurama was cancelled: money, pure and simple.

It wasn't cancelled bacause Fox wanted "revenge" on Matt Groening.

It wasn't because the network executives didn't like or didn't "get" the show.  That would imply that they cared one way or the other about the quality of the show.  They didn't.  Network executives care about one thing, and one thing alone: the bottom line.

Futurama simply wasn't cost effective.  Fox didn't make a big enough profit off of it to continue airing the show.

Think about it.  Why are reality t.v. shows so common?  Is it because the network executives think that people like them?  No.  Network executives don't really care what people like.  They care that reality t.v. shows are cheap and easy to make, which makes them profitable.

Then won't the option "FOX" be enough to cover both ?

Actually, "Fox" is the only correct answer.

The stockholders (I'm pretty sure he meant stockholders, not stockbrokers.) don't make those kind of decisions.

I was responding to your statement that "They care about money, not stupid tv-shows."  That was exactly the problem: Fox cares about money, not about t.v. shows.
