Space Pilot 3000 Secrets (SPOILERS)

  Hi!  I'm new here.  Anyway, I just had a quick question for all you Futurama buffs: In the first episode's commentary, Matt and co. say the first episode is laced with all kinds of hidden references to later episodes and Fry's life.  I know some of the more obvious ones (Nibbler under the desk, the Jesus wars), but are there any others?  I would very much appreciate some sort of list showing what the first episode alludes to.  I just hate not knowing secret references.    Thank you all very much in advance!

Forgive me, when I said the Jesus Wars I meant the multiple times New York is destoyed as the thousand years pass.  I just read the explanation as to why the aliens AREN'T called Jesus, and it all makes sense now.

Are you sure that Nibbler is it?  The guys in the commentary made it sound like there were several things to be "discovered".

The episode basically CONFIRMS that the shadow was Nibbler.

Also, as Winna said - there's nothing in this thread that hasn't already been discussed to death here.

I think billy here is wondering if there are MORE secrets to be found in 1ACV01 because of what is said in the commentary. Not if the shadow is actually Nibbler.
