Oh sure, Futuramamama, call ME a nerd - you're the one who typed it!

Also, a story has yet to be confirmed yet, let alone a movie itself - but still, if they were to make one, I'd guess that the movie itself would probably be something epic, with a healthy mix of humour, shippiness, sci-fi, and awesome animation. I wouldn't mind betting that nibbler and the brains would tie into it somehow, either.

I didn't mean you - I was talking about most people in general here. Only about half the people here spells properl, use proper grammar and punctuation or use full stops/capital letters.

Also, we should really stop talking in binary - there's already a binary thread.

Anyway, back to the movie. IF it does get made (slim chance, but still...) I think it will most likely answer Nibbler's "She must be the other!" line from The Why Of Fry. It'll tie Leela into the whole Fry/Nibbler/Brain story, and I mean REALLY tie her in (unlike the small help she gave Fry in The Day The Earth Stood Stupid). That's what I think, anyway. The brain thing has become a vital part of Futurama's progressing story, and it'd be crazy for them not to continue it if they made a movie.

I haven't seen seasons 4 and 5, but the day the earth stood stupid was a great episode and Nibbler should definetly get more lines.
Also I think they should make a porn movie, like Manga. That would be nutty.

Yeah, I agree. I loved that ep, and there is so much more they could do with the Nibblonians. I think that it would kind of ruin the setup of the PE crew if Nibbler talked like he did in TDTESS though, it kind of killed the coolness of it all. But yeah, the 'Fry's special brain' thing was really good - perhaps he could do some more world-saving with it in the movie.  Although, I'm not sure a movie would be great for Futurama... a movie needs a strong plot, and Futurama is best (in my opinion) for it's witticisms and quick jokes, not for a generally funny storyline - that gets old too quickly. I don't know though...

But South Park the movie, was really funny, and I never saw that coming... I do think you're right about Futurama not translating well to the silver screen though. And it would be a giant disappointment if the movie became a giant disappointment!

I think they could pull it off. I mean - look at the writers. They've written many episodes that will go down in history with the fans, I'm sure they could make a movie (and make it good). All they need is a good script, which they'll be very capable of - and the movie will be awesome IF it goes ahead.
