I just googled it, and according to tv.com, it's episode 136 in season 7.  It's entitled "Mother Simpson".

"The 30% Iron Chef" would have to be my choice. The plot was pretty weak: Bender runs away from the rest of the crew after they have all faked their interest in his cooking, gets trained by a cooking legend on a hobo planet, and then goes back and beats one of the greatest chefs in the galaxy (with a little help from LSD). The second reason which I don't like watching "The 30% Iron Chef" is how little screen time the rest of the crew gets. I can only recall Leela talking on one occasion in the episode.

Well, I disliked the Cryonic woman and Godfellas. To me, they'd have never given up on finding Bender. It isn't that it has weak story plots or anything, it's just not my favorite...and it's my least watched episode next to Cryonic Woman.

I just got the 4 seasons DVD's, and watched every Futurama episode over a period of 4 weeks.  After seeing them, I'm modifying my answer to this question.  I've got to agree with you all above; the only one I won't watch again is "The Cryonic Woman".  It's flat & not as funny as the rest of the episodes.  Particularly, the character of Fry's old girlfriend is REALLY annoying...

I can't remember if I've posted in this thread before, but anyway here is where my opinion stands now in 2007. Least fave episode is probably 'Crimes Of The Hot', 'Obsoletely Falulous' or 'Bend-Her'. I'm not too keen on 'Kif Gets Knocked Up A Notch' either. Basically they're all Season 4 episodes and overall I find Season 4 to be the worst...

edit - looking back it seems I've made loads of posts in this thread dating all the way back to 2001, it's weird reading them back now...

Gotta agree with anyone who said "Cryonic Woman" and "Leela of Her Own"; those are definitely two of the least-good ones. Cryonic Woman i thought had an excellent PREMISE, but they completely ruined its potential, especially after Michelle showed up. Something about that episode grates on me. And, yes, can somebody please kill that annoying bitch?

As for "That's Lobstertainment", I didn't have a problem with it at all. I can't understand why so many seem to detest it so much. [But then i quite enjoy Calculon].

I cant really say there's a single episode I dislike entirely, however probably my least favourite is Mars University, with that damn
F%^&ing annoying monkey Gunther, I total share Frys contempt for it and was quite happy when it ran off into the wild..... oh why , oh why , oh why didnt I....break his legs!

Death to Gunther

Chrissie the girl who dated him must have had a lobotomy the day before she dated that rancid monkey...poor poor Fry, I really felt for him there.

Oh and on the subject of 'Cryonic Woman' Nothing occurs to me....in a twist to that famous Ronald Reagan quote!!!

Honestly it made no real impression on me whatever...that's probably worse than leaving a bad impression, at least that what many controversial artists have argued when they have been booed, egged and generally thrown of the stage!  :)

I've probably already responded to this thread, but looking back, I'd have to say the worst episode was probably "A Pharaoh to Remember". Bender as a lovable jerk is entertaining. Bender as an UNlovable jerk... not so much.

Yeah, for some reason Bender was really a complete and utter jackass in that episode. But I'm one of those people who still think even a "worst" episode of Futurama is still better than just about anything else, so it's kinda unfair to really call anything "bad". Plus every single ep had at least 2-3 moments where i laughed out loud.

I'm watching "space pilot 3000" right now on Adult Swim, and I think it's one of the worst.  Not because it's a bad plot, but because the voice actors hadn't fully found their character's voice characteristics yet, and the timing of the jokes is off.  It's kinda flat, and it pales next to the Futurama episodes that came after it.

Not that I'm complaining, mind you.  The worst episode of Futurama is still better than 99% of the shite on TV right now...

Shocking to see Professor Zoidy list Godfellas, as it's my personal favorite (and possibly Groening's, too, from what he's said).

I sort of agree on The Cryonic Woman, but only because of the weakness of act three. I actually like the first two-thirds of the episode.

I'm not sure I have a least favorite, but there are two that are sort of ruined for me by the main character being out-of-character/overly mean: A Pharaoh To Remember and A Taste Of Freedom.

Hmmm...well, to each his or her own.  I personally enjoyed the original Star Trek series, as it gave us a positive, hopeful view of the future, which is something that hadn't been seen before on TV.  In my humble opinion, the episode "where No Fan Has Gone Before" is one of the more intelligent & funny episodes in the Futurama series, and is obviously a valentine to all Star Trek fans.  It was cool of them to do it, and I've enjoyed it immensely.

My vote for worst episode would be for "A Pharaoh to Remember". Bender gets so annoying, whining about his funeral, that I want to kick him.

That's for sure; it's a theme with Matt Groening.  There's a great line from "Anthology of Interest 1" when Nicelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura from the orignal Star Trek cast) says "Ughh, eternity with nerds; it's the Pasadena Star Trek Convention all over again"...

I was very disappointed in the episode where they go back in time to Roswell. The writers of the show had a strict rule about no time travel that they faithfully obeyed up to that point. That's when I think the show "jumped the shark" a little.
