I didn't care for it either but there are Amy fans who like her eps and Amy is part of the show.

Well I agree, but I just dont think that her relationship with Kiff should have gotten so much attention.I mean, she is a supporting character, like Zoidberg or at least she should be.

Wrong. That's the best episode. The lines are great. And the little jokes are good.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

AOI II (the human bender part), and the one where bender meets that woman-bot...except for the joke about bender's age, if it was in that ep...

As I've said before, in my opinion Godfellas was clever and deep but also boring and unfunny. However, It's not my least favourite episode- that would be Anthology Of Interest II, mainly because of the Human Bender bit. AOI 1 was great though.

Godfellas is one of the best episodes, it is certainly the best Bender centred episode, the way every time he tried to help the Shrimpkins he killed or maimed them was done in an hilarious way.

Fair enough.

Bender's out-of-character jackassiness plus the inactivity of Fry and Leela bugged me. Throw in the cramped (sans for Zoidy singing Dannyboy) funeral scene and viola. Bad episode.

Then again the frequency with which "A Leela Of Her Own" is mentioned in this thread rubs me the wrong way.

"Godfellas" was one of the best episodes ever.

Worst Episode: "The Honking." No question. It was boring, unfunny, and not even deep like "Godfellas."

Runner-up: "The Cryonic Woman."  That's L.A. for you? Come on. I did not want to see Fry back with that jackass of a girlfriend. She should have stayed dead.

My least favourite episodes

A Pharaoh to Remember
Bendi'n in the wind
Hell is other Robots
Where the Buggalo Roam

Nearly all the Bender episodes were CRAP except for Godfellas which was very clever.

The Cryonic Woman would go for the worst episode as far as I am concerned, it just did nothing for me, very dull all the way through   (even the staff were clear bored on the DVD commentary).

Godfellas is a great episode, lots of funny little jokes and also very deep and meaningful.

A Pharaoh to Remember - is a very well written and funny episode, however the basic plot of Bender wanting to be remembered didn't really hold together, that is why many people would probably dislike it.

Am I one of the few people who think that Bendi'n in the wind is one of the greatest episodes ever!?!

I find myself still enjoying less-popular episodes.  I thought Bendin' was pretty good...not great, but enjoyable enough, I suppose.  Pharoah wasn't bad either...while Bender got on my nerves, the episode as a whole was alright.  Less than Hero also entertained me quite a bit, and that seems to be...less than popular here.

I think certain parts of Mars U and certain parts of Leela of Her Own qualify for worst episode status.  Still, I couldn't rate either less than a 3/5, as they're still pretty good.  To me, Futurama really doesn't have an all-out BAD episode, and that's very impressive.

I just rewatched Cryonic Woman to see what all the fuss was about.  It's not that bad.  I found myself really liking a lot of lines.  But then I had some gin & tonics and forgot them all.  OK, I remember one.  "The people are all phonies, nobody reads, everything has cilantro on it..."  When this episode came out, I was in the middle of adjusting to all the freakin' cilantro in California and I was liable to complain about it in every conversation I had.  So perhaps you can appreciate my amusement.

Walshyboy: Bendn' In the Wind- I don't think it's one of the greatest but it's probably the best Bender centered eps!  I love it!

Yeah, TriforceBun, there are really no bad ones.  Just worse ones but even those are great.

"The Cryonic Woman" is bacically the worst episode of Futurama. The only thing that was funny was the beggining when Fry and Bender went on that little joy ride with the ship. "A Leela Of her Own" was actually pretty good in my book, even though it doesn't stand up to the rest. It's funny in it's own way. "Godfellas" for me was 70% good and 30% bad. The beginning was good, the middle was great("Hey! Did you rip your arm off for fun?" ), the ending had very little payoff for me. It to me, is one of those episodes where you love it, but then at the end, it's like "It was ok.", I'm not saying it's bad, but it need a little extra boost to be great.

I've always liked "A Leela of Her Own" too.  I love the Mets, but they're so much fun to bash, especially because they're in last place again.  Bob Uecker's line about "The Mets close out a season that will rank among mankind's greatest crimes" blew me away.  My Mets fan friends have still never heard the end of it.  I think I'll go harass them right now.
Hank Aaron is a good actor, too.  I was surprised.  And for some reason, I always think blernsball is funny.

Edit:  100th post!  Yay!  I'm post-whoring!

List of a few stinkers that i did not enjoy. No particular order:
That's lobstertainment
A pharaoh to remember
The cryonic woman

And to everyone that didn't enjoy less than hero that much: That was a great episode!

While Cryonic Woman was not the best episode, but it did have some really funny parts.  The part with Zoidberg and his slinky was absolutely hilarious!

Having read the original pages of this thread, and recently re-watched almost every episode produced, I can safely say that the official figures suggest Lobstertainment for the crown as King Sucky.

However, (even though I think it did indeed suck) I don't think that we've been thinking all this episode bashing through.

Some episodes are story-full and fantastically done forming a sequence of beauty (TDTESS, RTEW, TWOF for example). Some episodes fail individually, but also form an important sequence.
TSHL set the scene for BITW, which was important to the writers at least.
What you have to look at is where each eisode fits into Futurama as a whole, and on that score, we come out with the worst one as being APTR.

It just doesn't fit. At all.

Incidentally, some of the episodes slated by people in this thread are really great. Some of those praised are really crap. This just proves the diversity of the audience it appeals to. Don;t hate people for holding opposite opinions. Cherish them for it.

A lot of the episodes called bad (especially from the first and secoind seasons) had goods first parts, by which I mean the first seven minutes. They are often unrelated to the rest of the ep. This is less true in the third season, where the episodes have more unity, it seems to me.

I like Bendin' In The Wind, it is one of my favourites, probably because I'm a Beck fan.

The Cryogenic Woman I thought was not that bad, Zoidberg was hilarious in the episode.

But I do agree that That's Lobstertainment! was a real stinker.

I have no idea why people don't like The Cryonic Woman! When I first saw it I loved it, and I have ever since. I was shocked when I realised that so many people on the Internet don't like it! Everything about it is good! A great concept, brilliant animation and funny jokes! The same can be said about I Dated A Robot, another horribly underated episode!

I also have nothing against Cryonic Woman.  The year 4000 stuff at the end was a bit weak, but it certainly didn't make it to one of the worst eps ever (well, in my opinion, obviously).  Also, I enjoyed Pharaoh to Remember.  Sure, Bender was a bit too mean in the ep, but it was still a lot of fun to watch.  My most hated episode is Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles (for cryin'out loud, how come everyone likes this ep?), closely followed by 300 Big Boys.

I agree with you, Evil Fox Exec except that I loved TMLH (probably cos it was basically Leela centered) and 300 BB was eh, in the middle.  Not good, not bad.

It's still too hard to say what episode of Futurama is the "worst".
