A Fishful Of Dollars is certainly not one of my favorites, but it has some funny parts in it.  I like the part when they're all sitting at the table and run off to go shopping.  That had me laughing like crazy, being the second ep I ever saw.

hmmm, its hard to decide on a worst episode, as i like thats lobstertainment and a pharoh to remember (REMEMBER ME!!!!).

i didnt like the cyronic (?) woman that much or a leela of her own, but both are still good episodes but not great.

The DVD commentary for that episode was great, they discussed Leela's cleavage   :flirt:

I didn't like Bender Gets Made that much.  It wasn't very funny or plot driven.

If you mean the "Horse PepsI OK?" bit, that's not in A Leela of Her Own, it's from The Luck of the Fryrish. And I actually like that joke, it's so ridiculous that it's funny!

I 've heard many jokes like that before.  And, you know, it's an easy mistake to make- they're both taking place in stadiums.

I dont see why everyone thinks cryonic woman is such a bad ep, i love it, but then again i love any episode that has a relation to fry's past involved, im a sucker for nostalgia lol.

The writers aren't dumb, they know when an episode needs "punching up."  And what better way to do that then with a little fan-service.  Witness Leela's evening gown in "Lobstertainment", her dissapearing swimsuit from "300 Big Boys", or even her ever-so-sporty blernsball uniform in "Leela of Her Own" (sorry Teral)

I guess what annoyed me about the commentary was Billy West and John DiMaggio ad-libbing as Fry and Bender.  Don't get me wrong, those two are tremendously talented, but they have writers for a reason...

the best bit of the commentaries (if i may go a bit off topic) were discussing the hypno toad and the popeye style thought singing.

and speaking of fan service, they added to jurrasic bark by putting in skimpy outfits...even though it wasnt nessicary.....

It was supposed to represent that Fry is so involved with his dog, that  he's not even distracted by thing's that would normaly interest him!

That and the whole fan eye candy thing.

While I don't think the episode was in ned of a blast from the spice weasel (BAM!), I agree that it was an extremly sexy blernsball uniform.

I laughed at David Cohen comment during "That's Lobstertainment": "But we didn't get any complaints about Leela's dress though."  :D

Also from Lobstertainment, we shouldn't be too vocal in our critisism of an episode, the writers might confront us on it.  ;)

"A Pharaoh To Remember" still takes the cake as the worst episode. Dispite it's great animation and fanservice.

I always felt that "Bendin' in the wind" was the weakest Futurama episode. Actually, it seems to me that most Bender-centric episodes are below average. Episodes like "Bender Gets Made", "Bendless Love" and "30% Iron Chef" come to mind. I didn't mind "A Pharaoh to Remember" though I'll admit Bender was a bit more obnoxious than usual. "Raging Bender" was also very funny.

I still feel Bender works best as a support character, which makes me a bit worried about the upcoming three episodes centered around him.

Having said all this, Bender is still my favorite character on the show  :)

There is another vote for "Kif gets knocked up a notch". Most plotless and non-cohorent episode in  history of the series.

In regards to the bender episodes:

"Bendin' in the wind" is one of my favourite episodes, as is "30% Iron Chef".

"Bender Gets Made" is alright but not great.

"Bendless Love" and "A Pharaoh to Remember" are however not very good episodes.

"Raging Bender" was good though.

'Kif gets Kocked up a Knotch' and 'Three Hundred Big boys' are just grating, especially the latter. The whole Kif and Amy thing has been done. 'Amazon women in the Mood' was very funny in spite of it, and 'Where the Buggalo roam' at least had some decent jokes in it. Kif is only funny when paired with Zap, and Amy is only funny when she's a spoiled, rich, easy, hipster-clutz. Futurama differs from the Simpsons in its continuous story arc, but why the romance and sexual tension?

for example, I liked Fry much better in the first season, when he was hardly interested in Leela, beyond the occasional superficial remark. They exhausted their relationship comedy seasons ago, and if the show isn't funny, what is it? I want a good sci-fi/humour cartoon, not Cheers or Moonlighting or Friends. Clever humour, not sitcom conventions, is what got me hooked on the show, i can only hope the last 5 eps contain more of the former.

And the last episode is guarenteed to be shippy.

I loved Bendn' In The Wind! Bendless Love was pretty funny as well, but I disliked Bender Gets Made and Raging Bender.  Bender works best in episodes where he is in a side plot, like A Flight To Remember.

Being a shipper, I like any shippy episode and I enjoy the ways in which Fry tries to prove his love for Leela.  As much as I like the romance part of the show, comedy I love just as much, if not more.  And there is no such thing as a non- funny episode.  The thing that sets Futurama apart from every other show is that it isn't just a one aspect show- it isn't only comedy or sci fi or romance or action- it's ALL of those.  It can make you laugh, it can make you cry, it can put you on the edge of your seat every time.

I,Roommate is brilliant! So is Kiff Gets Knocked Up a Notch. I really don't understand why so many people don't like it, it's one of the best. I also like the Bender eps that everyone is dissing. They are some of the funniest, and most accessable episodes that will also appeal to more casual viewers.
As I've said before the only eps that are below average are That's Lobstertainment, and A Leela of Her Own (which is actually slightly better than Lobstertainment).

Are there any eps that everyone likes? What I mean is, is there anybody that doesn't like Parasites Lost, or Teenage Mutant Leelas Hurdles...

Leela's Homeworld

I can't stand the parents and it's freakin' underground mutants! Never a fan of the underground mutants.

Futuristic mutants are so cliche' and not even the brilliant FUTURAMA writers and actors can make them interesting.

I was still holding out hope that Leela would've been an alien.

Though I liked the song at the end. There's an upside.  :)

OMG! Leela's Homeworld is one of my all time favs!   Yes, the song is great- one thing we agree on.  But it is a great episode.  Oh well, I guess it's because I'm a big Leela fan.

I would say 'Luck of the Fryish' and 'Parasites Lost' are the only two episodes truly appreciated by almost all Futurama fans. Those few that don't like those episodes are probably ones that only like Futurama for the comedy and not the character development.

Nothing wrong with that, but I think they're overlooking what elevates this show above other animated comedies.

Another episode I can't imagine anyone not liking is 'Roswell That Ends Well'. I can't fathom how any fan of the show could fail to appreciate that episode.

But then everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I don't know, I really like it. It may be a bit of a rehash of My Three Suns, but it's still great. The funeral scene is one of Futurama greatest moments, it's just so dark, quirky, and funny.

I loved Bend'n In The WInd (it was funny and I like music stuff)
Hell Is Other Robots was only good because of the song, otherwise I wasn't too entertained.
Where the buggalo Roam wasn't that bad, except it wasn't really funny and I don't really care for Amy/ Kif eps.  But it is nessecary to see their relationship develop.
