I need to get some more posts going...or people won't respect my unfathomable knowledge (Okay...a LITTLE overexaggerating) of the show and my extreme geekdom which comes as part of the package...

Sheesh...Less Than Hero is moving up to one of my favourite eps ever.  As far as this "season" goes I liked it better than A Taste Of Freedom, Route Of All Evil and Jurassic Bark.  I like ALL of the eps on their own merits.  Some of the weaker ones include:

The Cryonic Woman
A Pharoah To Remember
I Dated A Robot
Bendless Love

Underrated eps that I liked and feel deserve more credit:

Crimes Of The Hot
Less Than Hero
A Bicyclpos Built For Two
That's Lobstertainment

So far my least favorite episode has to be "That's Lobstertainemnt." I found the story OK, but Harold Zoid just annoying.

This is one of my favourites!
I know opinions vary too

As mentioned the "That's Lobstertainment" and "Cryonic Woman".
I like the emotional ones like "Love And Rocket", "Time Keeps On Slippin'" and "Jurassic Bark" but alot of people don't seem to like them.

Futurama as a series is well mixed though, there's alot of good Fry/Leela/Love episodes and Comic episodes.

I'm a big fan of the "emotional" episodes. To me, it makes Futurama an excellent sci-fi show that doesn't take itself too seriously, instead of a sitcom.

Virtually every Futurama that ends up on a fair few people's "worst" list will end up on a fair few other people's "best" list.

I hate "The Honking" and "Mars University." "The Honking" even more than MU.

Edit: Also, I don't much like "That's Lobstertainment!" or "The Cryonic Woman." Both are just plain boring episodes.

What didn't you like about the Honking?  I thought it was pretty good.  Now granted, at the time, it was one of the last epsidoes I hadn't seen yet, so I might have been a bit biased, but what was so bad about it?

My least favorite episode is "A Leela of Her Own".  Especially the setup with the pizzaria, I just didn't find it funny.  The episode with Beck is a close runner up.

I saw Roswell that ends well for the second time yesterday and I wasn't too impressed with it. I didn't laugh a single time!

The cycronic women was OK, but did you guys(girls too  ) see the the cool skateboard sequence in the year 4000? That was awesome, some of the best animation I've yet seen with my own eyes!

It was boring, and overall it had a pathetic script. I, too, saw it after everything else, but for a later episode, the writing was just terrible. I didn't find anything very funny. Bender took on the "stupid character." It seemed to nearly reflect a Family Guy short from "Viewer Mail #1."

Oh, I liked the Honking!

My pick for worst episode is That's Lobstertainment, or Why must I be a....

Zoideberg heavy episodes annoy me to no end.  He's a funny character but only in small amounts.

I'd still watch any of those episodes over some other filth on TV though.

Yet I was astonished that people were picking Jurassic Bark as there least favorite ep. That episode really got to me, I was crushed when Fry changed his mind about cloning seymour. Probably the only episode that affected me at all emotionally. And Bender's magic gags were gr8.

Fry's Mom: "But where's Phillip?"
Fry's Dad: "I'm tellin' you the Y2K computer's got him. We'll face burning roads, rivers explodin', calculators transformed into Scud missiles. There is nothing we can do."

Choosing a worst episode is so difficult. In Futurama more than in most shows, the best can sometimes exist alongside the worst. For exaple, I see that Mars University is a frequent nominee. This contains the worst joke I can remember in Futurama (Leela: I didn't know monkeys could cry.
Gunther: They cant. It's all the hat.)But it also contains several excellent professor moments. (Professor: this experiment may well win me the nobel prize.
Fry: In what field?
Professor: I don't care. They all pay the same.

or
Professor: Poor litlle monkey. Well, I suppose we may as well go and gather him up. No point letting him go to waste (tongue flicks over his lips).

or (when Gunther jumps out the window)
Professor: Oh! I was always afraid he might run off like this. Why? Why? Why didn't I break his legs!

I defy anyone who likes Futurama at all to say that none of these lines are funny. It's just that bad lines can put a real downer on the overall feeling of the episode, leaving you with a worse impression than is really fair.
That's what I think, anyway. Now hit me.

I must say that I do dislike The Why of Fry because Chaz is such a annoying character. Every scene in which he appears is really ... unpleasant to watch.

I'd add in "Kif Gets Knocked Up a Notch" and "Less than Hero." Those two have gotten some pretty negative reviews. "I Dated a Robot" isn't too good, either.

I'd remove Bird-bot and Bendin'...I don't know why everyone's down on the Beck.

Patchcord Adams: "What's the matter? Can't move your arms?"
Bender: "Obviously..or I'd be strangling you!"

Beck's Head: "Hurry up, Bender! We gotta get to the concert quickly...then make the audience wait for it to start!"

Who ever suggested "Birdbot Of Ice-catraz" anyway? It got Free Waterfall Sr, and armed penguins. Plus the Leela toboggan scene! What more can you want?

I don't know why everybody keep picking on "Kif Gets Knocked Up A Notch", I think it's a pretty good episode. If we need to have an McSeason 5 episode I'd suggest "The Route of All Evil" instead, or posibble "Less Than hero".

But neither of those two are bad as such. "Bendless love" and "The Cryonic Woman" are far worse.

Updating my list (which I *will* do on ANSTATMAW eventually, honest!), I maintain these are the trio that are on the same level as season 9-12 Simpsons (oooooh, nasty!  ):

3: 'Less Than Hero' (NEW ENTRY!)
2: 'That's Lobstertainment!'

and, still at number one, probably (in fact, considering how few episodes are left, hopefully!) for all time...

1: 'The Cryonic Woman'

The episode that began my hatered of Kif. What a boring, unfunny episode.

3. Kif Gets Knocked Up A Notch
Grrr, another episode starring Kif. Thery should have kept him as Zapp's seconded Banana, nothing more.

If it wouldn't be a Futurama episode I would hate "Fry and the Slurm Factory", because it's basing on "Jimmy and the Choci Factory" which I hate

It's based on "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and the little boy's name was "Charlie" not "Jimmy".  Not that I'm a huge fan of the movie or the book or anything, but what was there to hate so much about it?  It's a cult classic.  Unless you were talking about "Jimmy and the Chalkey Factory" and you just made a typo on the spelling of chalkey.  In which case, I can't help because I've never seen or heard of it. :P
