I wouldn't be suprised if 'Devil's Hands' or 'The Sting' were nominated, and both are worthy of winning it too.

Devil's Hands. I think The Sting would be hard to enjoy if you wern't already a Futurama fan. You know because of the funeral and all, plus the fact that Fry is in love with Leela really needs to be known to fully enjoy it.

I think the Devil's Hands has to get something for original music (Or whatever the award is).

None of them.  By the time the Emmy awards come round again Futurama will have been off the air for months, and the people who decide these nominations will be gushing over the NEXT BIG THING!

Part of me does have to lean towards Fred.  Afterall, how do you think Titanic won an Oscar?

Hint: It wasn't the screenplay.

Beezlebender, the episode's called "Bender Should Not Be Allowed on T.V." - there's no "why" in the title. Also, somebody already made a topic like this a few weeks ago.
 http://www.peelified.com/cgi-bin/Futurama/1-002315/

Still, that other topic is a bit outdated, so I'll post here - after all, it's up to the mods to decide whether or not to close this thread.

Anyway, I would vote for The Sting. It's funny, imaginative and original. Also, I think the whole Fry and Leela thing would be lost on the emmy-picking people, so The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings might not be the best choice. I know The Sting is also a very shippy episode, but you don't really have to be a fan to find it amusing (with the exception of some of the funeral jokes).

Devil's Hands would be our best bet, especially with the extended musical number.

Didn't like 'The Sting' that much.
It started off pretty good, but trailed off into something lesser than it should have.
Just my opinion, everyone else seemed to have loved it so what do I know.

I guess I'll vote for 'The Devil's hands...'

I think it'd be better to nominate "Devil's Hands" for Best Music or Best Song (I think it would be elegible, though the singing is a bit different from most songs).

The Sting is the best choice for Best Animated Episode.

Of course, the Devil Hands one is the best choice for the song section.

They might as well submit an episode for Writing, or even Futurama as a whole for Comedy Series.  I'm sure Matt Groening can afford it, and it would really embarass Fox if one of those got an actual nomination.

I liked the sting the most but i think they submit parabox because with out any knowleadge of futurama you won't get half of the sting's jokes. But weather it wins or not depends on the competion for all we know therecould be the best ever episode of the simpsons nominated now that Matt has gone back to doing that.

Oh come on, despite the romance in the other episodes, Bender Should Not Be Allowed On TV is so the nomination!

It's its own message about rude television. Turning down that episode for the emmy nomination is a shame.

And the winner is... the Simpsons, for the episode "Our Audience are Stupid Twats"

In this classic episode, Homer accidentally joins al Qaeda and Marge becomes a crack addict!  Special guest stars - Greg Proops, Brett Favre and Shakira!

Why isn't The Why of Fry there? It aired past the Emmy 2002 deadline, didn't it?

EDIT: never mind. May 31st? That's... late.

"The Sting" seems like the best bet. Great weird episode, with good jokes and all.

"The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings" seems to be too dependent on knowledge of the Futurama story. If you don't know about Fry's quest to win Leela's heart, the emotional imact wont work. But the song would definetely be a good shot at Best Song.

BSNBAOTV is my favourite in this run, but The Sting holds the most chance of winning, so it gets my vote.

I'm going for Devil's Hands.  Althought, I think it would be sweet if BSNBAOT won it, since it deals with television and the audience so much.

i think the why of fry if not they should have been enter'd instead of jurrasic bark for the previous one.

as for the next one i think Obsoletely Fabulous
is the best one that doesn't have too much contuation of previous episodes
that said the funeral scene in the sting might be understood because amazon women in the mood was enterd but not nominated.
although it seems highly unlikely

My dream is that "Bender should not be allowed"  gets nominated.  The way they depicted TV executives was a sweet suckerpunch to the works behind the cameras.  If it wins an Emmy for anything, it'd be a partail admittance by telivision arts that the corporate world about it should change.
