Which one is better: AOI 1 or AOI 2?

Aoi2 rules.  The Bender as a human story was really funny and the AOI was really the only way to show this.  Both AOI episodes were great, though....WHY'D YOU MAKE ME CHOOSE?!!!!!!!!!!!

This is tough.  Leela's segment in AOI 1 was pure gold.  But I also like Leela the witch for some reason...

I never really thought the Bender ones were really funny. The human one was disgusting, yet the giant robot was at least entertaining(Bender killing Hanson!). I vote for AOI II because of Fry's story. When i heard the words General Pac Man, It knocked AOI I out of the park. AOI I's best story came from of all people, Leela. Even though she doesn't match up to any of the characters in trems of funniness(I think thats a word), Her story was funny as robot hell. Just the fact that she kills everybody except Fry(Who got REALLY lucky) is pure comic gold. But only her story was really funny. In AOI II, both Fry and Leela's stories were great so I pick AOI II.

I definitely prefer AOI II. I just like the three stories better. AOI I is a decent, solid episode, but nothing compares to the Zoidberg lines in Wizzin' or the entire gaming segment of AOI II.

Leela I
Fry II

I can't say which AOI I like better though. They're both great episodes...nuff' said!

I love them both but AOI2 gets my vote....The video game segment was damn hilarious for me with my love of classic games, Bender becoming human and dying from overdoing everything was great....and Leela's Wizard of Oz was funny as hell too....

AO1 is just as brilliant all 3 segemtns are hilarious....and if you hadn't been paying attention to the backgrounds in the earlier eppisodes (like me  )this was the first time you saw Scruffy....I went back after hearing the commentary trying to spot him and BAM there he was....!

I like both episodes about equally. My ordering of the individual segments would be:


• Leela 1 (best looking murderess ever!)   
• Bender 2 (human Bender. 'Nuff said)
• Fry 2 (<<sigh>> nostalgic memories of my arcade-spent youth...)
• Bender 1 (you can't go wrong with giant monsters)
• Leela 2 (unfortunately I don't know "The Wizard of Oz" well)
• Fry 1 (somehow it didn't completely "click" with me)

Wizard of Oz parody is my favorite of all six vignettes, but I think AOI1 was better overall. So I vote 1.

It's a tough call between either, but I think I'll give the edge to AOI2. No one's mentioned human Bender kissing the Professor... and Farnsworth liking it. That was hilarious. And, of course, "wooo."

I'd have to go for #1 myself. Leela's murder spree is priceless! Sure she makes a great witch in 2 and I did love her reaction to Amy's comment about women's sizes but the scene in the library with Zoidberg is perfection..

I liked both AOIs!  There's not one I like better than the other.  All the stories were in rare form!  Wished there could've been an AOI 3!

I liked AOI 1 better than AOI 2, especially the scene in the accusing parlour, the one where leela kills hermes, and how stephen hawking always takes other peoples ideas.

AOI 1 wins in my opinion. The Leela killing spree is the best segment of all 6, and the other 2 segments in 1 were good as well.

2 was good also, but just not as good as 1. Maybe if they'd shown 2 first I would like it better, but nothing compares to 1.

Leela's 'good girl goes bad' twist is one of the best segments of the show. classic Futurama dark humor.

in the bed scene with Fry, she seemed to be wearing dark mascara. did make her look more sinister though, wonder if it was intentional?

As a nerdy computer/rpg geek I find exceptional a segment with both Hawking andnip Gary Gygax. But.. I'll definately have to go with AOI2

Bender II:
Bender: Guys, guys, you gotta come into the bathroom and look at this.. you're not going to believe it


Bender: Nah, it's not working anymore
Farnsworth: Speak for yourself

Leela: Bender, you drunk and smoked when you were a robot..

Fry II:

Farnsworth: Can you put that in the form of a question?
Fry: Ahm.. what if that thing I said?

Farnsworth: Monkeys aren't donkeys, quit messing with my head.

Fry: It's ok.. I had another guy

Leela: Invaders... possibly from space


We're loosing ships Lurr.. what are your orders?
Lurr: Increase speed, Drop down and reverse direction

Mrs Pacman: Nooooo!

Lurr: You are defeated, instead of shooting were I am, you should have shot were I was going to be

All your base are belong to us (that alone wins the duel =)

Farnsworth: Forget it you pixelated pirates...

Leela II:

NBC =)

Amy: Whooo those are great shoes
Leela: Thank you
Amy: Do they come in women sizes?
[Amy Gets squished..]

Bender: Did you say that you're off to see the professor? cause I need a heart.. a human heart.. I need to pump out a lot a' blood outta my basement.

Zoidberg: What.. do I smell or something?

cant decide which is better...so i went with the first on the premiss that i didnt like the video game section of #2, and i liked all from #1.

Also I absolutely LOVE the wizard of oz segment, then again i absoutely loved the charlie chocolate factory slurm take off to so maybe it's just a trend with me!

I'd go with either "Raiders of the Lost Arcade" or "The Wizzen" being the best, but "I, Meatbag" is probably my least favorite of the AOI segments.  It's well-written in that it's within Bender's character to act that way as a human, but just too gross for me to want to watch it often.  The three AOI segments are pretty much on par with one another, although I'd probably rate Bender's highest.  My rankings would be something like:

Usually I would say I love AOI II even equally as much as AOI I.

But at the moment I'm edging towards II. The Space Invaders Parody is brilliant - 'Watch, as I fire upwards, through our own shield!'

And when they discover human Bender is dead
and Wernstrom(sic) utters: 'But he just went Wooo!'
It's all in the delivery.

Both were excellent episodes, but I gotta give the nod to AOI 1, simply because the Leela section was so good. But both were great, since they let the characters break out of their normal routines on the show.

AOI II for sure! Bender's fleshy, meatbag ass, Mom the witch, Lrrr leading the Nintendians. That whole ep was gold.   

EDIT: Although, seeing Cubert impaled on a sword was UBER-AWESOME!

Fry's, Leela's, and Bender's are amazing.  Well that'd be all of them, wouldn't it.  But they're all really, really good.  Even better than the first ones.  All of them.  That's right.

AO1, but only just. It gets plus points for introducing Scruffy for the first time proper, and for that absolutely hilarious chicken scene:

Leela: Hey guys! Look what I just bought on a wild impulse! New boots! They're like my old ones, but with a crazy green stripe! Never know what I'm going to do next!
*Fry pours gravy over a chicken on his head*

Definately AOI 1. I liked the one where Bender was 500 feet tall. That 1 was awesome
