Futurama Fanbase

I was just thinking about the fanbase of futurama and if it would be big enough to create a profit if the series was continued in some form. This lead me to another question...

How many, roughly, Futurama fans are there worldwide?
How does the number of Futurama fans rank up with other shows on television?

Futurama is a cuilt show, so a lot of the people here would sign up. But there aren't that many fans worldwide really, compared to other shows.

Yeah, there area lot of fans, but not as much as other shows (thank fox for that0. also i've noticed that the majority of these fans don't go out of thier way to watch.  like we do  . But everyone who I know who has seen Futurama says, "yeah, that's a pretty good show". but who knows if they like it enough to go on the net and read about it. Again like we do.  Also, I'm pretty sure the fanbase is much larger out of the US?
