Seems like the 2003 contest is a foregone conclusion (I had a hunch it would be, but still in all fairness the other songs deserved a shot), so let's move on the finding the best damn original song/musical number in Futurama (plus knock the difficulty up a notch).

The contestants are:

From The 2001 Contest: "Robot Hell Bonanza" written by Eric Kaplan and Keen Keeler.

From The 2002 Contest comes "The Elves Are Back To Work" written by Ken Keeler and "Sonata For A Cyclops" composed by Christopher Tyng.

And finally from The 2003 Contest comes "Leela, Orphan Of The Stars" which I'm assuming is written by the great Ken Keeler.

Leela: Orphan of the Stars was a good song, but the Hell Bonanza is slightly better and it's catchier.

Ive never really like having music mixed in with comedy cartoons but "Robot Hell Bonanza" was a perfect fit for that episode.

"Leela Orphan Of The Stars" mostly for the part where the Robot Devil jumps in and it turns real. Not for the part Fry was playing.

The more I listen to "Leela : Orphan of the Stars", the more it grows on me.

The Elves are back to work. I loved that song so much I made a small video of it, and ripped it painstakingly by microphone.

"Leela, Orphan of the Stars" was great, but the others are all worthy of the award, just not quite as much.

I thought the opera was good, but no way was it the best song/musical composition from the whole of Futurama. For me, Robot Hell is the greatest song to come from either of Matt Groening's animations, if you don't tap your feet then you've got no soul!

I'm sorry, but any song that includes a battle with Gozilla wins hands down with me.

To me it's a tough call between Robot Hell and The Elves Are Back to Work.  But I guess I'll go with Robot Hell.

I chose the opera. "Welcome to Robot Hell" is excellent, but the opera is better.

I honestly can't decide.  The only one I KNOW I won't vote for is the sonata, without lyrics, it's just not as good.  So I'm stuck on the big three...
So no voting for me right now.

I don't know people closing my "Best original Futurama Song" just because it's been discused before.
I also like the Final Opera and there should be a CD of the music of Futurama. But if they include the Final Opera they have to include the talking in the middle,
""Stupider?" Your Opera lacks stublety! You just can't have your characters say how they feel! That Makes me feel angry!"
Also a version of 'Trainspotting: the mucsical' from the comicbook would be good.

Robot Hell Bonanza.

Just tell me why/
Please read this 55-page warrant/
There must be robots worse than I/
We checked around, there really aren't/

I'd say it's the best song of them all out of the Simpsons and Futurama.
