You know, list like these have always made me want to create a website, where you move the episodes around by drag and drop (or if you have already made a list, you could just import that), then these episode lists could be easily compared or exported to text, so you could post them on PEEL.
And since you would have an account, the website would remember your list till you return to it. In addition, you could provide a x/10 score for each episode, if you so desired.
(Because I am bored right now, I feel like programming this, but I also need at least someone to say; 'hey, that's a cool idea, do it'. You know; motivation.)

That does sound like a great idea and as you are bored, it seems like a good waste of your time (and I'm sure it would help a lot of people) go for it!

I agree with Boxy, that'd be a great idea.
Suggestion: you rate every single ep out of 10, and your rating will determine it's position on the list. People might not expect what they see on their list that way.

I prefer out of 10, but allow people 1 decimal, e.g. 5.4/10. The 10 does not trip people off, while 100 can seem rather overwhelming, even though it is actually out of 100, as I will store the numbers that way, but display them as x/10 (and of course allow users to input in that format).
The ranking and ratings will technically be separated, and the system will allow users to get their list out as their own rankings or by their own ratings.
Do note, that it is entirely possible to have unranked/unrated episodes. They will be grouped at the end, in order of production.

When I parse your list, AdrenalinDragon, the following lines raises errors: 28. Near Death-Wish 33. How Hermes Requistisitioned His Groove Back 50. I Roommate 72. The Birdbot Of Ice Catraz It's a fun parser! UPDATE!And now the basic version of the rating site I mentioned before is done. You can visit it here. Simply go there, register an account and import your list. Avoid BBCode and other tags in your list. When done, it will present you with a result of what it parsed, as well as what it did not understand. You cannot at present alter the list from its view (which is the front page), but you can alter it from the import form, which allows you to alter individual episodes by writing their ranking and their title/production code. To summarise: Things that are working: - Import of text based list.
- Display of ranking in descending order.
Things that are not working, but will come: - Rating of episodes.
- Altering ranking of episode from list view.
- Altering sorting of episode.
- Text based list export.

- Altering ranking of episode from list view.
How long? *not sure if I should wait or write a list*
Now you can click on the ranking (even if it says '?'), an input field will appear where you can enter the number and hit enter to confirm it.

Iis there a way you could add a rank average (Similar to IMDB's top 250) so that the episode/movies are ranked on a global list from all registered members?
That will come later. Right now, I don't feel like doing that until there is enough data to make something interesting (so at least 3 users, I suppose). Update: Meh, I did it. It is now the front page, to modify your own list, you need to click the 'Your list' item in the menu now.

Svip, is there a way of doing it without splitting the movies into 4 parts? I personally regard them as a single episode and I wouldn't want to cut them up. That would be like draining the chocolate out of a chocolate milk and reviewing the milk and the chocolate individually.
Give them all the same ranking. Erm, I've made several mistakes (same number/wrong order) is there any way to reset or edit it?
Well, you can of course change a ranking at any time. And inserting a new list into the import field will overwrite the current rankings.

What?
Anyway, I have created a silly feature to colour the episodes by season or by run. The box also pretends it has a sort feature, but that isn't working right now.

Bump!Haha, apparently, so few are using it right now, that it just takes one person to fuck up the average. "The Sting" was successfully in the lead until today, when it moved up 12 slots! Well, keep the lists coming! And to those not sure yet, remember if you have already spent the time writing a list, you can merely import this list once you've registered. Update to functionality:Things that are working: - Import of text based list.
- Display of ranking in descending order.
- Changing the ranking of an episode from the view list.
- Colour coding each episode depending on its season or run.
Things that are not working, but will come: - Rating of episodes.
- Sorting episodes.
- Updating the sort when altering the ranking
- Text based list export.
- A legend overview for colour coding.
- Ability to move all episodes 'down' in ranking, if another episode takes the other's spot.[1]
[1] Example: You have ranked episode A, B and C with 1, 2 and 3, respectively. You want episode D at B's spot. This feature will allow you to instruct the system to move D to 2, B to 3 and C to 3. And if there were more beyond C, they would also be moved once, until there was a gap; D might have come from such a gap.

I cannot fix it, more people need to add their lists.
I am disappointed not to see Gorky here yet!

And a new feature! Export your list! with your own fancy syntax. And an option for people like UnrealLegend, to have films appear as one. I am disappointed not to see Gorky here yet!
Though I find ranking these episodes excruciating--I know what I like, and I know what I don't like, but trying to rank a bunch of beloved (or derided) episodes relative to one another is too much!--I have created an account on this spiffy new website, and will post my list once I can puzzle out some kind of true-ish order.
Oh my! I was always the impression that Gorky was a list girl!

That's because you use a weird apostrophe. I can make it support " ’" for " '", but yes, you can alter these episodes here; just scroll to the bottom where you find these episodes unranked. Update: I altered it to support ’ for '. So you can import your list now.

Oh, I love lists generally as a means of organizing data; I just have a hard time listing my favorite Futurama episodes, as I love (or loathe, as the case may be) them all in different and hard-to-quantify ways. I can assign each episode a rating from one to ten quite easily, but how can I possibly decide if a 10/10 like "A Bicyclops Built for Two" (which is funny and beautiful to look at (what with its Emmy award-winning corn), and has a killer ending) should be ranked above or below a 10/10 like "Parasites Lost" (which is also funny and beautiful to look at, and has a killer ending)? It's like a mother trying to pick her favorite child...only, in this case, the mother is ridiculously slutty and fertile and has over a hundred progeny, and the majority of those progeny are wonderful and lovable.

Well, I buffed up the site a little, the front list is now loaded asynchronous. This makes it a lot easier for me, as I now just have to write some JavaScript to render the list, which also means when you change order, the colour coding remains!
Hopefully, soon, I will make colour coding and order being remembered by the system (via a cookie, probably), so you don't have to choose your favourite view each time.
