Well, if one of the two voiced Destructor there wouldn't be much of a battle.  ;)

I'll go with Billy and John.  Both sides have incredible voice talent, but Billy and John get extra points for doing their theme remixes.

@ Slashco:  Yes, Castellaneta guest stars to voice the Robot Devil.  I don't know if he does any other Futurama voices though.........

Harry Shearer? Come on he's the best.
O.k out of those two chioces i'd have to go with Azaria and Castellaneta because they both have more of a variety in voices and Dimaggio brings down Billy West's voices.

Castellaneta just played the Robot Devil. That's it.

Also, West and DiMaggio win!

Billy West is also the red M&M in those M&M commercials and the voice of Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd in Space Jam and the upcoming Loony Toons movie.

West & DiMaggio get my vote.

This IS a Futurama message board.  It still to hard for me to vote.  They are all so talented.

Dimaggio did about 5 different voices in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. Just that alone wins the battle hands down.

Of course West and Dimaggio, no contest. While I love the voices for both shows dearly, Futurama is a better show with better characters with funnier voices.  I mean, doing the voice of Fry, Farnsy, Zapp AND Zoidberg? That's a talented man.  And Dimaggio is also very talented guy- Bender's voice is also really cool.

And, well, this is just another reason why Futurama is better than The Simpsons IMO.

In all honesty, maybe a Futurama message board isn't the best place to get a bias-free answer on a topic like this...  :)

I can't believe Nixorbo left out Dan Castellaneta voicing the Robot Devil. But thank god someone else here remembered. Anyway, I'm gonna have to go with West and Dimaggio. They're both amazing, but West has so much diversity, and Professor Farnsworths voice is in a class of it's own  :)

Yeah, I actually predicted such an outcome, but a friend posed the question to me, and I was intrigued enough by it to ask it here.

And I left the Robot Devil off because I was concentrating on characters that have appeared more than 3 times over the course of the show.

Well why the hell did you leave the Robot Devil off when he obviously appeared more than 3 times over the course of the show, in...

Hell Is Other Robots
A Tale of Two Santas
Crimes of the Hot
Devils Hands

And although he didn't technically speak in 'Crimes of the Hot', that doesn't matter because you said 'appeared', not 'speak'  :p

I'd have to side with Hank Azaria, just because of the variety of hilarious voices he does- Professor Frink, Comic Book Guy, Apu... you can hardly believe they're the same guy! Plus he starred in Mystery Men so he gets bonus points for that.

That does not mean Billy and John are any less talented. They just need more funny voices.

Does Hank Azaria voice Mr. Burns and Smithers, or is it Harry Shearer? Whoever does it gets my vote, even if they're not in the poll.  :)

Billy has done I think somewhere over 1,000 characters. He's an awesome actor. I wish he was on more of the commentaries. Castellanetais way awesome too, they all are, I can't decide!

He didn't do Beelzebot in "A Tale Of Two Santas" either, that was the great Maurice Lamarche filling in.

I'm a bit torn, both Hank and Billy are great voice actors. Moe and Frink alone would give it to Hank, if it wasn't for the fact he was up against Billy. Zoidberg and Farnsworth are such brilliant voices.

Since Dan outshines John (in my opinion) I'll probably have to shock people and go against the consensus.

Yeah, but the point still remains valid, that he 'appeared' in more than 3 eps  :)

Billy West is the male equivalent to Tress MacNeille . . . he's done so many that it's hard to compare any to him.  He's the king of voice-talent.  Look at the diversity in his characters on just one show . . . Zoidberg, Professor, Zapp, and Fry all sound completely different.  For the entire first season, I didn't even know that Billy voiced Zoidberg.  However, I think Maurice LaMarche should replace John DiMaggio up there, because I think LaMarche is more talented.  He's appeared in nearly as many productions as Billy.  But because I could never imagine anyone elses voice as Bender, I will grant John DiMaggio "genius" status as well.

Oh if Maurice replace John, I would change my vote in a heartbeat. I love that guy, he's about the most talented voice actor I've ever heard. His Morbo voice is uncanny to say the least.
