can anybody tell me where the German board went? Either I'm blind or it disappeared...

It's a reference to a classic Monty Python sketch about a joke that's so funny that anyone who hears or reads it literally dies laughing. The Allies translate the joke into German in order to use it as a weapon in WW2. It broves to be so horrifically effective that all joke warfare is banned after the war.

Of course, my explanation probably sucked all the humor out of the sketch...

For me it sounds normal ;o) but I like the way we germans are treated by Groening in Simpsons and Futurama. Especialy the running-gag of apearance of Hitler in the presence. But I only saw this several times in Simpsons. He didn't apear in Futurama so far, did he?

yeah Hitler appeared in a "The Scary Door" episode on Futurama.. Can't remember which ep though..

A yeah, the guy turns into Hitler in the mirror, don't he (dont have time to check the episode)? I wonder if there is a chamber of horrors in the headmuseum (like Mdme Tussauds), because he didnt apear in the criminals hall.

Those are the same as here in canada.. We can't live without beer...
