Now that futurama is off Fox, we  wont be seeing any more new episodes. But maybe if we can somehow convince the people at cartoon network, they might just ask the production crew of futurama to make new epsodes for them. I think we should have a petition or somthing that would convince them. Anyone with me here?

Im sure that everyone here at PEEL would love for that to happen. I know I sure would! But the problem is that Fox would probrobly never allow that to happen, seeing as how they still own the rights to the show (i think).

BTW welcome to PEEL id0kn0w!

Not even to mention the fact that CN just plain-old can't afford the $1M per ep pricetag.
CN effectively 'blew their wad' in buying the rerun rights.
Their heart is in the right place, but their pockets just aren't deep enough.
Still, I agree that fresh Futurama eps on CN, or SciFi for that matter, would be awesome.
Hey, I can dream, can't I?
And if yer gonna dream, dream big!

The community of futurama fans have tried countless petitions and none have done much at all.

I think you would have a greater impact if you sent a business letter to the head of programming for Adult Swim at Cartoon Network.  Thank them for showing and promoting Futurama.  Tell them how much you enjoy the show.  Tell them that you watch the show on Adult Swim (don't forget to mention the name of your cable company).  Then ask if CN is considering purchasing new episodes.

CN is definitely interested, but there are many obstacles, including cost.  Anyway, its only going to cost you the price of a stamp.
