The show is finished.

The team is disbanded.

There will be no more.

Looking back, was it worthy? Was it a fitting end? Is it right that Futurama died young, and burned super-bright whilst it was here?

My vote is yes. I can't wait for TDHAIP, and now that I've accepted it, it feels right that there can be no more episodes.

No more meanss, after all, no more bad ones.

Yeah, it was a good run.  The only thing that could have made it better would have been more time.

I'm not sure I "wouldn't have it any other way", but I think it's probably better that Futurama ends before it becomes boring like the newer Simpsons. It could've gotten in some more seasons if FOX hadn't treated it so badly, but I wouldn't actually want to see much after Fry and Leela start dating. It would be too hard to please everyone.

Yeah, I think it was worthy, too. Personally, the last seen gave me closure. I will miss it though....    :nono: BTW, Welcome to PEEL, John C!

I'm glad that the show went out on a high point, and think that this was as good a finale as I've seen in a long time.  Yes, it was most especially worthy.

Yep, that's me.  The lone "I can't answer that."  While I do think that the series ended very well, I don't think it was time for it to end...I think if anywhere, it should end around its eighth season or so.  Four is just too few.

You know my feelings on the matter.  read my intro to this thread so I don't have to quote poetry again:

Wow. That's pretty deep.

Although I guess I'm biased, as I like the poem in it's original context anyway.

I can't answer that. It's too misleading.

Yes, it was a great ending for the series. No, it wasn't time for the series to end. From the title of the poll, I'd say yes; from the post introducing it, I'd say no. So how am I supposed to answer?

maybe till it reached 100 movies!

:sigh:

I voted #3 by the way. It should of gone on for as long as it was still awesome.

I would've rather had another ten seasons, but this was okay too.

I voted 3 as well.

With payn on this one. The ending was great, but the show had 1~2 good seasons left in it...

The team isn't exactly "disbanded", and could come back together easily enough. The animation job market is incredibly small right now.

So Futurama staffers are already migrating to Cartoon Network? I heard Scott Vanzo's directing the CGI battles in the Clone Wars shorts.

Well, I can't really compete with that, but this is a song I've been listening to recently :
Oh my heart won't believe that you have left me
I keep telling myself that it's true
I can get over anything you want, my love
But I can't get myself over you

Don't forget to remember me
And the love that used to be
I still remember you
I love you
In my heart lies a memory to tell the stars above
Don't forget to remember me, my love
