season 3 and 4 are tied for me- they both have emotional and funny eps. the emotional eps in 4 are better than he emotional eps in 3 but the funny eps in 3 are more funny than the funny ones in 4. so it's a tie.

Season 2 wins for the funniest eps, with 3 at a close behind. due to 1's lack of emotinal eps and funny but not as funny eps, it's last place. but i'd still rather watch any season 1 eps than almost anything else on tv.

of course, after i get the dvds, this could all change after i can see these eps more to understand it better.

although I prefer the Professor's character in the older episodes.

2ACV hands down. There was not one bad episode in this season, except 2ACV19. 3ACV had only one really emotional episode, and that was Luck of the Fryrish. And it had a couple of bad episodes too. I mean, it was a good season, but I love 2ACV most of all.

Now that its over I prefer 4ACV, it was a mixed season with a couple of the worse episodes but most of my favourite episodes come from there so I'm going with it.

It's gotta be 4ACV. I mean, with episodes like TDHAIP, Leela's Homeworld, Spanish Fry, WNFHGB, TWOF, and may we not forget that Emmy-nominated show The Sting, it was a great season, though it had some mediocre episodes, like LTH and 300BO, they were still funny, espcially the 100 coffee part in 300BO. Although 3ACV had some classics, like Roswell, AOI2, Parasites, and TLOTF, and won Emmys, it had some not so good episodes, like T30%IC and WTBR. So, for me, 4ACV, with 3ACV closely behind, then 2ACV and then 1ACV.

Season four is my favorite because it has some of the best episodes such as The Stng(my favorite ep) TDHAIP(Second favorite ep) as well as TWOF(Also one of my top 5's). I only have seasons 4 and 1 though, so I might have liked the others better if I had the DVD's. This the order for me,4AVC then 3AVC though they were pretty close The Sting made me chose 4AVC, next is 1AVC and lastly 2AVC(I didn't like this season much).

At any rate, I'd say my order for favorites is:
Season 3 (best balance of comedy & emotion)
Season 4 (best use of emotion and characterization)
Season 1 & 2 (tied, because even though it had some great comedic moments, I feel as though the show was "just warming up" )

I think that the buggalo one is one of the weaker episodes aswell.

I didnt think season 1 was as good as the rest because it was still 'warming up' by season 3 they really sussed it, and had some really clever stories (same with 4 I just thought 3 was better) and 2 is ok but it just doesnt have the polished finish of the 3rd and 4th.

my favourite joke in season 3 is in Roswell that Ends Well when frys grandfather is looking at the calender and flips the page to the guy but then fry flips it back to the girl and when fry is driving away and shows his grandfather blowing up and the last thing he was looking at was the guy on the calender.

In my opinion, the series just kept getting better as the years went by. That's not to say that Season 1 wasn't great. It was, but the other seasons were better.

Man this is actually really hard. I almost wanna go for season one just cos hardly anyone else has and i LOVE some of the episodes.  Still my initial reaction was Season 3 is the best, and I best stick with that.  But I'll put season one next to be different, followed by 2 and 4, which are also brilliant!!  I'm in that group of people who find Jurassic Park and the Sting abit overated so that's why I'll put 4 last.

What was wrong with "300 Big Boys"? That was a pretty good episode.

Anyway, my ranking:

^But as mentioned before, I love 'em all, and the rankings don't mean I hate 3ACV or 1ACV. I simply prefer the others more.

I voted for season 2... I'm not really sure why, maybe it was for the original and the classic episode Anthology of Interest I... or maybe it was for different reasons all together. Most likely I was just voting impulsively. (screw properly thought out decisions)

I voted Four. I think Seasons 3 & 4 have a similar balance of humor and plot, but Season 4 was more consistent. Aw hell, I love 'em all!

woooooooo, this is a toughie, i like them all but some episodes i just cant stand like kif get knocked up a knotch, i absolutely hated that episode,  where as i love most all the futurama episodes i would have to say season 2, i cant get ebough of those popplers!

Overall I'd have to go with 1.
But 2 and 3 are close.
I feel 4 was a bit more uneven.

Hard to judge by season, though, since my few least favorite episodes come from seasons 2, 3 and 4. As none of my least favorite come from 1, that's why i went with that.

S2 was the most consistently good, followed by 4. 3 had a LOT of weak entries, and 1 was just finding its way.

I know that the biggest  Fry/Leela ep is probally TDHAIPT but on average season 3 has the mos shippy eps. Parasite Lost, Bendless Love, Time keeps on shipping.. and it also hs some of the funniest - AWITM, GF, FS, RTEW, APTR... But it does hve my lest fave ep - that's lobstertainment..

i'd say it then goes 2,4,1
