Is he a clone?

Please pardon me if this has come up before, but I'm rather new here.

The guy, you know, that one guy...the fat guy...the trucker from Parasites Lost, the carny worker from The Series Has Landed, the guy with art tattood on him from The Cryonic Woman...and many others...

Is he a clone, or does he just happen to be in all the places that our main characters go?

He's everywheres, he's calleds Sal.

In one of the commentaries they bring up this point, but it isn't answered. So believe what you want. Sal may just move jobs all the time, or maybe he's cloned to occupy low paying jobs, or maybe he's a robot, or maybe....

It's like that on The Simpsons as well. Lindsay Nigale (or whatever), the squeaky voice teen, Gil. It's probably a trademark thing from Matt Groening, or something.

I think he just keeps getting different jobs, like the Pimply Faced Teen on the Simpsons.

Sal is funny, he should be in the show more...like Scruffy the Janitor kinda is.
