There was a post about a year ago asking for the best planet. I wasn't a big fan about the choices so I decided to do another one. I only wish I could include more choices.

Edit:

Lots of questions as to when some of these planets are mentioned in the series. I only chose planets that we actually saw...

Earth: Duh

Mars: Home of the Wong Family. Featured in the episode titled "Where The Buggalo Roam" season 4 episode 6.

Chapek 9: The Robot planet. Featured in season 1, episode 4 "Fear of a Bot Planet"

Eternium: Nibbler's home planet featured in two episodes: "The Day The Earth Stood Stupid" and the episode where Fry has to destroy the infosphere.

Sphereon 1: Featured in the episode entitled "War is the H Word". Home of the Brain Balls

Omicron Persei 8: Found in several episodes. Home of the Omicronians who invaded Earth in the episode entitled "When Aliens Attack"

Decapod 10: So many Zoidberg fans, so few know that this is his home world. Featured in the episode "Why must I be a Crustacian in love"

Amazonia: Home of the Amazonians, featured in the episode "Amazon Women in the Mood"

Urectum: Formerly Uranus, name changed in 2620 to end the associated joke once and for all.

Cyclopia: Home of Alkazar, a shape shifting cockroach-like creature who owns five castles and tried to marry 5 aliens (including Leela) in one day.

Hope this helps   :finger:

Personally I liked Planet Eternium. The inconceivable dimensions, it's location (center of the universe), all that stuff is great.

I don't even know where Eternium came from (must be from an episode I recently missed) but I'd go with Nixon-run Earth.

If the choice was there, though, I would choose the Slurm planet.

I don't remember Chapek 9 or Decapod 10 at all.  What are they from?  I voted Eternium because it seems to hold the key to the secrets of the universe!  I also like the neutral planet.

Chapek 9 is the robot planet from 1ACV05 and Decapod 10 is Zoidbergs home planet introduced in 2ACV05.

But, realistically, the Neutral Planet is by far the funniest.

I had to go with urectum, cause hey, it would be cool to say "I live on urectum". Or it could just be that I have the maturity level of a 3 year old.  either or.

I liked the moon. It was funny to imagine an amusement park there. And all the whailers!

But since that isnt there I'll say earth, we've definatley seen much more of it.

I'm surprised no one has picked Amazonia yet, so I'll do it. Tropical climate, lush forests, chic condos, and all the snoo snoo you can handle. Too bad they have a lousy basketball team...   ;)

If you only chose planets that we actually saw, why include Urectum, which we've never seen except from far away, and not Mercury, Neptune, Pluto, or any of the numerous alien worlds other people have mentioned?

I chose Chapek 9, since "Fear of a Bot Planet" was an early favorite of mine.  The unlisted Neutral Planet was also great, though.
