Very very funny.

I really did like this episode, and thier use of big foot. And Bender's constant zings were hilarious. This gives me much hope for upcoming episodes.

A new theme song?  Probably just for this week. Does anyone know why it was different?

Was I the only one waiting for a payoff from Bender? The one-liners were pretty funny, but it really seems like Fry would have retaliated or something. Otherwise, I was rolling on the floor laughing. I give it 4/5.

I also thought it was very funny ep though, I think they may have over used the lower horn deal at the end. I was also shocked to find out that bigfoots a peeper. Ill never go swimming anywhere in the midwest now, and Ill keep a bucket in my tent in case nature calls.

i really liked this episode two, especially Benders one liners about Fry's "Lower horn". also, Fry had a funny one... "No matter how big it is". also i was suprised no one decided to decipher the beginning... or post about it. anyways, i did. anyways, it was "Thanks for watching Futurama Slave Army". i give it 5/5

Great episode, with a lot of funny stuff overall.  The one-liners from Bender was great, as well as the Bigfoot film that they showed.  Bender got to be really obnoxious in this episode, and there was great interaction with all of the characters.  I got a great laugh out of Hermes business reference.

Well this new episode was ok but they had a lot of jokes that where like jokes in The Simpsons and the wee wee jokes got unfunny boring near the ending. C-/D

I also didn't get the theme song, it really sucked. But then again it may just be for one week only.

MrB:
Nope, but the alien message in the intro was

"Thanks for watching Futurama slave army!"

The bigfoot movie was made in 2962 - most rights reserved.

I think the ep was good. But not great. I dunno...

You mean, the "northwest." And, sorry, TNN, I don't believe that you'll be having sex out in the woods where Bigfoot could see.

Anyhoo, a very very funny episode. It could just be me, but I'm really digging this new bitchy Leela ("Stop with the emotions! This isn't fat camp, although you couldn't tell from looking..." ). I think it helps make her a heck of a lot funnier than she was.

Fry, par usual was hilarious. I agree that all of Bender's ribs on his "lower horn" were classic. I think I might need to right some of them down, to use as my own insults.

Lrrr and Ndudna did come across as "not mean enough" to Fry, Leela, and Bender, but that's excusable. Their bickering was classic. ("I was only testing to see if my printer worked!) I was worried about them being over-exposed (see, Morbo, Scruffy), but glady, they weren't.

I loved the beat-box style intro. The only problem I had was that you couldn't hear Bender's vocals well enough.

Assumably, this will be the last Fry-centric episode (three Bender episodes and the Fry/Leela/everyone finale). It's such a shame to see it go.

Grade: B+

Funniest episode EVER! This episode easily makes my top 5 all-time favorite episodes list. Hillarious from start to finish, including the opening and closing credits. This one was really an episode for the fans; I just love that caption saying "Thanks for watching Futurama, slave army!" in AL1. They were talking to US! Only the true fans can read/decode AL1.
This is also one of the filthiest (if not THE filthiest) episode ever. I honestly don't know how it got past the censors. And yet, it wasn't the slightest bit tasteless. Everything was masterfully done.
And speaking of "an episode for the fans", did anyone else notice that the tent scene with Amy and Leela had way more detail than necessery?  :flirt:

A funny episode.  I think I've now heard every wise crack and one-liner about male genitalia.  Bender is sooo bad!  At least it's safe to uncross my legs.

4/5: funny jokes that became less funny as they were used over and over. Every mention of the 'lower horn' would get a woo from bender. Big ups for the bigfoot film that may not have been actually seen. we get more insight into fry's pervertedness than, well I didn't mind it really, but ick.

Amy's outfit, wierd camping clothes, even for the future. looks more like a hooker for a lumber jack camp.

@ Anarchist:

I didn't want to be the first person to be labeled a "peeping Bigfoot," but I also noticed the Leela/Amy tent bit. However, I saw that Amy took off way too much clothing when going to sleep. I was personally surprised that Fry didn't try something (like peeping).

Or would that have ruined his "lower horn?"  :laff:

@evan: Erm... they were both completely naked. I was referring to the detail with which those few frames were drawn, and certain details of... I'll shut up now.
@Idlesaint: The end credits featured "The Scary Door" (Futurama's parody of "The Twilight Zone). Here's a rough transcript:
[A mad scientist was mixing some chemicals in a genetic egineering lab.]
Scientist: "I have combined the DNA of the world's most evil animals to create the most evil creature of them all!"
[A guy comes out of the machine]
Guy: "It turns out it's Man."

A hilarious episode! Definetely worthy of a double page in my homemade "Futurama" guide book. This must've set the record for most sex jokes on the show, but their execution was well done, so that justified it. And the opening sequence was great - nothin' beats Bender beatboxing. 5/5

This is actually a deleted scene from 3ACV05. It's on the season 3 DVD.

i loved how Fry standing in the spotlight with debris whirling all around him with the UFO above is almost spot on with the alien abduction scene in the pilot ep of the X-Files.

the only complaint i have with the entire episode was Leela's singing. I dislike inconsistency, so having Leela sing horribly when it has been established time and time again that she can sing really well was a little confusing. Although Ndnda's reaction to it was hysterical "The humans are attacking!"

Very good ep. About the tent scene, it is obvious that Amy is naked, but the only thing we know for sure that Leela took off was her boots. A highlight of the show. As far as Leela being bitchy lately, it's been make obvious many times during the entire series that she really can't stand the people she works with at PE, Fry included.

I made the ending credits of this episode into an AVI file (DivX 5.05 codec), it's 7.21MB in size. Would it be ok if I posted a link to it here?

Not the best, but very, very funny!  All of Bender's wooos! were great, even if they were over done.   I also LOVED his beat boxing mix!  But I hope it's only a one time thing.  Also his little dance had me laughing as well as Hermes 'business' and Lrrr and Ndnda.

I agree with you, Venus, about how Leela sang.  When she sings normally she sounds a lot better, but it was funny.

So the rating for this keeper is: B

By the way, don't all these new episodes seem to fly by?  I mean, it felt more like ten minutes than 22.  I think it's cause I'm so excited.

EDIT: O yeah, THAT DAMN BANZAI CRAP COVERED UP THE CREDITS!

Magic. (The same magic that allowed me to see the episode yesterday and watch it two more times today.)

I'll post it if/when a mod tells me that it's permitted. I don't feel like getting banned over this.

D'oh! Taping it was a bust. But I caught it at a friend's house, and it was really funny. It's good to get some classy genitalia jokes. We haven't gotten much of that since War Is The H-Word.

Screw everyone who said "this episode sounds like it'll suck". I thought it sounded funny, and bam, it was funny!
