Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV (not spoiling)

As I said at TFP, a Local TV Station of my country is showing the Futurama 5th Season episodes. Yesterday (July 10th) that TV Station showed "4ACV06 - Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV" translated of course!. Just to let you know...

Moe gets a part in some soap opera. The name of which escapes me by the way.

Does anyone think these two sound very similar?

I wasn't asking for the name of the soap, although it was appreciated. I was asking if anyone found these two episodes to sound similar.

This episode didn't air in the US yet as FOX wanted to use it as the finale (because of the title). People at Curiosity didn't like them and told them to use Devil's Hands instead. Hope they succeeded.

That's very interesting, because Sky (UK) told me they were allowed to air "S5" episodes, but they ended up not doing so...I guess this suggests it was because they didn't fancy pissing off Fox, not because they weren't allowed to

Standard rule of comedy: One character must at one point in his/her life get a part in a soap opera.

The Local TV stations of my country could show Movies that don't even are in Local Theaters. I think FOX LA gives a damn showing the "S5" episodes first...

If I can remember, Begins with Cubert wondering if he has a Birthday. The Professor tells him that he doesn't (he was cloned) but he and Hermes decide to make a Birthday party for Cubert and Dwight (his birthday was almost the same day).

They invite some other kids, but since both are uncool, the only one that shows up is Tinny Tim.
Then all the crew is watching "All My Circuits" and suddenly Calculon's Son gets damaged.

Bender gets the role and starts to Drink, smoke and steal in the show. The Network owner of "All My Circuits" is agree with bender's behavior because the show is getting good ratings.

With Cubert, Dwight and Tinny Tim watching All My Circuits every day, they decide to be as cool as Bender. Meanwhile, The Professor and Hermes decided to form an organization against Bender on TV (I don't remember the real name) since they catched Dwight and the other smoking a "Cigar" that he stole from his dad.

Suddenly Cubert, Dwight and Tinny Tim were cool, something weird because everybody knew that they had no friends. The reason was that they decided to steal Bender's Stuff, and they did. When Bender realized that he was a bad stereotype for kids, he decides to ban himself and he joins the organization against Bender on TV.

Thanks a million Javier for the description!  This episode sounds really interesting!  But also, it's clear that it wouldn't make a good series finale.  It's a good thing that DXC and company intervened.
