MG is a genius and I hope DXC would be involed too. Would fox just close the new show down too??? (god forbid) and maybe zoidberg could make a guest apperance why not? I don't mean as a living thing, as a doll or something like they did with bart in the garbage epsiode...
Or maybe bender, man, that would be cool.......

If it's gonna be aired on FOX, then what's the point? FOX will just treat it the same as they did Futurama.

I doubt Fox would give him another shot at a show, especially after Futurama.

Still - if he can get another show going, then why not? Sure, it may not be as good as Futurama, but still - who can turn down a show from Matt "Futurama, Simpsons and Life In Hell" Groening?!

1) I'd definitely watch it but I'm not convinced it could be as good as Futurama or The Simpsons (Up until about 5 years ago, I've no doubt it would surpass The Simpsons now). Also, if it is a rock and roll type show then this would be a bit of a problem for me since I'm not interested in this and know nothing about it.
2) No and I still have some hope that FOX will see the error of their ways and bring the show back or at least sell it to another network. It may be unlikely but there's an outside chance.
3) Probably.

Oh, and to answer BrainDeadZombie's point, while The Trouble With Tribbles was indeed a live action episode of Star Trek there was also an animated sequel - More Tribbles, More Troubles. I make no attempt to disguise my nerdliness.

Any show that he will create will not suceed.

Why ?

Because of his lack of fresh new ideas as of late.

And any show he makes will always be in the shadow of "The simpsons".

Futurama is the perfect example..
It was a perfectly good show and it always will be .
But it was not pushed to its limits...and any show he will create will suffer from what i call " simpsons syndrome".
And even the Simpsons is geting old fast...and the only way Groening will suceed in a new show is to put "The Simpsons" to death.....

And even at that hire new writers.
The ones he has got are all drained out of ideas.
