When will they show the rest of the new episodes? this is really pissing me off here! they are just prolonging the end of a show that should never have been ended before it's time. and don't even get me started on what could have ended instead of futurama.

but that is besides the point. when will they show all the new (5 now) episodes? anyone have exact dates?

They will show all 5 new episodes in a row starting July 13th, or at least that was what I read at CGEF.

Also, some TV sites have said the first of the 5 to be shown is 'Spanish Fry'. I'm not sure if that's still the same now though?  :)

July 13 is "Spanish Fry" (don't ask why).  Here are some descriptions:

(I hate it when TV characters are referred to as "the gang." )

Don't know about "Spanish Fry". The plot sound pretty silly, and Ron Weiner is so far two miss (A Pharaoh To Remember and Less Than Hero) and one bullseye (Luck of The Fryrish).

Then again Peter Avanzino is a great director.

To be honest the only episodes left that I have high hopes for is "The Devil's Hands are Idol Playthings" and "Obsoletely Faboulous"

I think the plot sounds really good. So i`am really looking forward too this episode.

Here is the list of what episodes i`am looking most forward too:

1. The Devils Hands are Idle Playthings
2. Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV
3. Spanish Fry
4. Bend Her
5. Obsoletely Fabulous

Although i'm really looking forward to all the remaining episodes, I have to say that the plots for Bend Her and Obsoletely Fabulous sound a bit too similar. Altough it's probably too early to judge because the only info on Obsoletely Fabulous is a bit vague. Does anyone know what the 'unwanted upgrade' is?
And Spanish Fry sounds realy great! I love the totaly bizzar, far out episodes.

I have tried to avoid reading anything to do with any upcoming episodes. I know nothing about them (Except what i heard on the DVDs).

This might be the wrong thread, but the three final Bender episodes all seem relatively weak. I know, I know, blasphemy, but they might have left the weakest until the end, in hopes of getting people to tune out.

It doesn't sound too interesting to me, but of course, "The crew battles giant space bees" turned out to be one of my all-time favorites.

.

It`s a sex change. And Bend Her and Obsoleteley might be a double episode. But i dont think it is. Allthough they do have similar plots.

From memory, Obsoletely Fabulous: Bender gets an unwanted upgrade. Bend Her: Bender gets an upgrade and becomes female. Seems a little too similar to not be a two-parter.

Cool cool.  Anyone have any ideas when Futurama is next airing on British terrestrial? I've been searching, but to no avail.

It's really weird on Brit terrestrial.  The strange thing is taht channel four like to show episodes from S3 and S4 around August/September time.  At least, that was my experience when I had terrestrial TV.  Dunno whether it's true...I may be experiencing more of that SPACE PARANOIA...oh, I made myself feel bad...

I reckon 'Spanish Fry' sounds crappy, but I did also say '300 Big Boys' sounds crappy and it was not bad.

Keep in mind that some parts of the Bend Her plot claim that Bender's new female upgrade allows him to take part in the olympics. So, I'm thinking that the female upgrade is going to be WANTED by Bender (probably because he was unable to make it in the male robot olympic team). Keep in mind we have had some episodes with very similar storylines that turned out to be completely different. So, I say - don't judge any of the new episodes until you see them.

ShineFusion - we haven't ONLY JUST started Season 4, we're over halfway through, considering it only had 12 episodes, and we're already up to Godfella's... As behind as Channel 7 may be (mainly due to the 2 year hiatus of Futurama), we haven't really had any breaks between episodes. Okay, so there's the odd episode skipped, and they changed the timeslot around a lot in season 3 - but at least we don't have to wait periods of months just for 2 or 3 new episodes.

Isn't it ironic that I watch something that is created for TV only on my computer?
(Yes, both the legal and the illegal way :P )

I watch it on TV when and if it (ever) is on.
I d******d the episodes, and I buy the DVD's afterwards when there is an opportunity, and watch them on my comp.
