Or maybe that it was broken?
L&R: The ship was damaged by the Omacronians
RTEW: It crashed in Rosewell.
WNFHGB: It crashes on the forbidden planet.

Incorrect.

The correct answer was that in each episode, the PE Ship is piloted by means other than the PE Crew or the auto-piolet.

Love & Rocket:  When the Ship freaks out and forces the path into a quasar.
Where No Fan Has Gone Before:  When Melllvar forces the ship to crash back to ground.
Roswell That Ends Well:  The ship is sucked into a wormhole.

Up for grabs.

What about in "The Deep South," when it's pulled underwater by a fish?  I know that isn't 'piloting,' but neither is being pulled into a wormhole.

Anyway, here's a highly evil question: What connects Leela, Dixie, and the Lucy Liu robots?

They're all hot?  Or..they have something strange about their ages?
Leela- age changed in TMLH
Dixie-  Was apparently with Slurms for 40 years, yet looks incredibly young
Luibots- Um...something else to do with ages...

Oh and before someone asks, Dixie was the blonde girl with Slurms McKenzie.

I was thinking more along the lines of being in space.  Also, it was a "What connects" question, not a "What only happens in these three episodes" question, so I don't know why you're complaining.

So, since it was a "what connects" question and not a "what only happens" question, I could have said the connection is that Bender appears, and you'd have to count it as correct.  Actually, you said that the guesses people made were incorrect, even though they make sense using your wacky "logic."  What's next, up is down?  Black is white?  Ignorance is strength?!  You commie!

I don't remember seeing "in space" as part of your question or answer.  But maybe it's been there all the time... just like we've always been fighting Eurasia, right?

Well, remember that the other girl with Slurms was also surprisingly old but I didn't mention her, so it's nothing to do with ages.

Ah, and need I remind you of your Seymour question?  Did you see how many answers that could have had?  Especially the one I showed you?  But that wasn't the correct response, was it?  Because it wasn't what you were thinking of when you made the question.  Almost every question that can be asked will have more than one answer, but in the future try not to be so offended if you still can't get it right.

Oh, you mean the answer to my own initial question?  Funny.

Questions aren't usually as fun when they can be answered by one simple idea.  Thinking about the solution is most of the fun involved in these questions.  If you don't answer it as it was designed to be answered, then back to the drawing board.  Just have fun.

I really wasn't being serious with my "complaints," and I wouldn't have said anything if I'd thought you were being serious.  But you should also remember to "just have fun."  Anyway, back to the questions.

Does your question pertain to the actual characters or the voice-artists that dub them?

Both, really.

And here's something I should have said to begin with: One other character could have been on the list, but I left him off; his inclusion would have made it too obvious (and prevented me from having an all-female list).  Sorry about that.

All of them have been female leads on television shows before Futurama?

("Married With Children," "Baywatch," and "Ally McBeal"?)

These connecting questions are kinda dumb, since they can have multiple answers. But they are thought provoking.

You know, I think everyone has been thoroughly confused by this point, so I'm just going to put my question out of its misery.  What's the connection?  The actresses who played these characters have also been depicted as heads in jars (Katey Sagal appeared in "A Head in the Polls" ).  The one I didn't mention was Hank Aaron (XXIV); I left him out because, uh... okay, so I should have just put him on the list to begin with.  Sorry, everyone, and sorry, question, it wasn't your fault.  Let's just all have a lie down and forget about it.  Someone else can do a new question if or when they feel like it.

Hey it wasn't that bad of a question, somebody would have thought of it sooner or later.  I didn't even know Katey's head appeared in that episode.

I just thought I'd screwed it up by leaving out Hank Aaron and mentioning him later.  Oh well.

And Katey Sagal does appear briefly; here's a capture by Mercapto:

I'll throw a question out there...why not..
On what planet is there another person with the name Phillip J. Fry?

EDIT: Sorry, Drippy taco, I meant no offence, by the way.    :)

Hooray!

What connects:

The Lesser of Two Evils
My Problem With Popplers
Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV

I'm almost 100% positive that the answer only pertains to these three episodes.

Bender does something to earn money? (plan to hawk the Jumbonium, selling the popplers, becoming an actor)

That's a good answer, but he does things to earn money in other episodes, i.e. hocking his body.

P.S. I might not be here again until tomorrow, so you'll have to be patient. I'll give you a hint, it has nothing to do with the characters or the plot. Each ep makes a reference to the same thing.

Those were mentioned in other eps. Sorry I wasn't here earlier, I was on the road today.

I might as well just tell you the answer, they all make a reference to the opening sequence of Futurama.

The Lesser of Two Evils - "Past-O-Rama"
My Problem With Popplers - Leela crashes int o the billboard
Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV - "Futurama does not condone" etc.

Next question's up for grabs.

Three Hundred Big Boys also mentions the word Futurama. And I'm sure there's others too.

Anyway, questions questions?

What is Hermes' role in the episode Roswell that Ends Well?

That's not what I meant. Roseanne says "Futurama", but there's no reference to the opening sequence. In the eps I mentioned, they made blatant references to the opening.

OK you have a point El Zilcho, and Jolly Mon you are correct, it was a bit of a trick question, the answer is Hermes doesn't have a role in that episode.

Boy, I'm glad I gave that question up earlier, no one understood the answer! I'll spell it out for you: In "Lesser of Two Evils" they have an almost exact framegrab of the opening sequence except it says "Past-O-Rama" instead of "Futurama". In "Problem with Popplers" there is a shot that looks exactly like the shot in the opening sequence with Leela crashing into the billboard. In "BSNBAOTV" They show another framegrab of the title screen. "Crap-o-rama" is a joke about the title, it's not a specific reference to the opening sequence. The next person to say something like "The Planet Express ship is in a lot of episodes" gets castrated.
