Any news ??

I suppose you could relate this to alot of other topics here so i'll just get on with it...

Since that day when we "officially" found out futurama was not in for "renewall" (check spelling!!) we haven't heard, or i haven't heard any more news on the subject from the creators of the show etc , so what the hell is going on? 

Its been too quiet as far as i'm concerned, if you know what i mean, like something going on behind the scenes that us fans won't know about till it hits us?? 

Anyone??

(I reckon Fox have got some conspiracy sh** going on - but then i'm naturally paranoid!!)

FOX announced the shows it would renew on June 15th. Futurama wasn't on the list.

I have to agree with ezy234 on the hope that there may be some sort of conspiracy going on that we as fans don't know about...

Better not start to think up impossible scenarios, that way you wont get your dreams squashed by FOX twice.

I'm sure if something was going on, information would find it's way to the major fansites. It's the TV industry, they're leakier than the PM's office.

By the way...I don't quite get these stars under the avatar.  Could someone please tell me their purpose?  If they are some sort of rating system, how are you rated?  Does it go on how many posts you make or something?

Why are we sitting around here doing nothing? I mean our (at least some of us) favourite show has been cancelled (not renewed) shouldn't we do something?

I mean when our petition fails shouldn't we take it to the streets? Gather a mob and destroy anything in our paths!

But seriously, shouldn't we hack in to their servers, make more petitions (that sounds like a waste of time), Make a "Celebrites for the renewal of Futurama" (I made myself sad) or something?

I have to much time on my hands and to little Futurama.

They're related to your rank.

It's not a rating system, it merely reflect how many posts you've made.

1 - poppler - 1 yellow star
5 - crustacean - 2 yellow stars
50 - delivery boy - 2 greenish stars
100 - bending unit - 3 blue stars
500 - starship captain (the coolest rank) - 3 red stars
1000 - professor - 4 pink stars
1800 - liquid emperor - 4 pink stars and one flashing star
3001 - urban legend - 5 flashing stars
6667 - Spce Pope - 2 flashing and 4 yellow stars
10000 - DOOP Secretary - 1 medal
