That scene with Fry eating pancakes is a combination between visual and sound. That sound he makes is great!

In "War is the h-word" in the army signup place there is a lot of posters that had me laughing for about 10 seconds!

Zoidburg: Hiiiiii hiiiii haaaaa what now?

3.
Bender: 500 Dollars you say?
Zoidburg: Dog food you say?

Best one I can remember is from Amazon Women In The Mood, when Fry and Zap are alternately grinning and looking upset when they think about Death by Snu-snu. It's fantastic - it goes on for just the right amount of time.

Two come to mind:

Love's Labour's Lost In Space: When Zapp heads up the ladder and Kif follows looking up, realized that he's looking up Zapp's, uh, skirt, then gets that disgusted look with the "Kif Sigh®" we've grown to know and love.

Amazon Women in the Mood: The skeletons of the last men to visit Amazonia, with crushed pelvises and smiling skulls.

Give me a few minutes and I'll think up 2478 more.

Edited to add *the classic* Futurama sight gag.  The still photos at the end of "Fear of a Bot Planet" taken during the Robanakah party.  Specifically the last two where (1) an angry Bender is holding a broken bottle at Fry's jugular and (2) in the final pic  they're all happy and Fry has bandaids on his neck.  I laugh just writing about it.

A movie poster in Fear of a Bot planet says:
Buff-bot the Human Slayer

Also, in A Bicyclops Built for Two the way Farnsworth butts his face in the middle of the online game was cool.

I liked it when Leela interrupts him by shooting at his face, shattering it into pieces.

Farnsworth's reaction to Gunter's escape in Mars University.  It's a totally static shot of the Professor, with his mouth hanging open a little bit.  It's just so wonderfully understated (he doesn't even MOVE in his aghst state!), and is just hilarious.

Mine would have to be from the first episode.

Fry wakes and walks by that huge panoramic window with the *FUTURE* outside and says,

"My god! ITs the FUTURE! My parents, my co-workers, my girlfriend, I'll never see any of them again......   YAHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!"

Yes, I know this a qoute but it wouldn't work without the visual element.

Another great professor joke... it's SORT OF a visual gag, but not quite... but the lines themselves aren't funny!  Let's call it a 'delivery' gag.

All said with a totally blank expression on his face, and a little grin:
'I'm afraid I must decline your offer of marraige as I'm dying.  Cough, then fall over dead'.
He does NOT cough or fall over dead, he just continues to sit there, looking pleased with himself for delivering the line.   :)
The follow-up 'Oh no, he's dead', when combined with the Professor's expression is even funnier.   :)

The capper is that on hearing "Oh no, he's dead", he checks his pulse!

To Invader_Tak: That's my favorite moment of all.  I wonder how early in the writing that line appeared.  It sums up the entire series.

..I feel so small after all these excellent visual gags - how do you guys remember them all just like that.

I don't know, but somehow the head in jars have been funny to me:

- chitchatting with presidents and loosing candidates
- the whole thing with Nixons head winning the election "KnockKnock AWWRRGGRRGHHR",
- supermodels and fishfood
- 'Yeehae, the frontrow'
- the moment where extraload (i.e. StarTrek-bodies were dumbed back to ground when PlanetExpressShip wasn't capable of lifting off)

etc etc has been fun to me.

I know it's been mentioned in a way, but in "Roswell that ends well", the way that the Professor walks into the shop in his fifties garb, swinging his pocket watch just totally cracks me up every time I see it!

Dear god, the ONE sight gag that I thought would be mentioned at least 857 times in thjis topic was NEVER said. And that is... Bender and the brick from Space Pilot 3000. I'm trying to think of some more.

-Bender with the 10-second spit take in Bender Gets Made
-Bender getting his arm broken off (when Leela rubs against it) from the same ep
-Zoidberg and the flaming Slinky from Bendless Love
-"I hate bottles", "from the desk of John Zoidberg, M.D.", and "and this time, I mean it" from 30% Iron Chef
-"Loitering permitted, but be reasonable" from AOI1
-Bender scraping Brannigan and Kif off him foot also from AOI1
-Farnsworth hitting the What-if machine at the start of AOI2
-The Who-Ask Machine, and the brief appearances of Xanthor and Katrina also from AOI2
-Fry's sandcastle getting zapped by a tiny UFO, followed by his overdramatic Nooooo! in When Aliens Attack
-The falcon grabbing the Gemerald, and then Fry's "that seemed unnessesary" from Less Than Hero
-It's not THAT funny, but it was to me. The completely random dancing person at the protest outside Planet Express in the Problem with Popplers. It came outta nowhere. Also, the starving lion. *cough* ... *cough*. Also, MEAT magazine.

I think I've said enough.

This is half visual, half lines, and half omage to the older gag:  The one in How Heremes Requisitioned His Groove Back where Bender is talking about Morgan and he reaches back and says "Is she behind me" and she's in front of him.

I think a zany one that I really liked from the beginning was Leela and Fry jumping over a pit of alligators with space helmets on in The Series Has Landed...
