In the UK we haven't had an episode for months now, since The Why Of Fry. I was wondering if anyone knew when they would be shown.

"The Sting" is scheduled for this weekend (Sunday 22nd).

"The Farnsworth Parabox" is scheduled for the week after, and presumably "Three Hundred Big Boys" the week after that.

You can check www.radiotimes.beeb.com  for listings (search for Futurama) or www.digiguide.com.

Sky one has no plan to show any of the episodes in any order or on any regular basis/time so anyones guess is as good as yours. the UKs crap with the Futurama episodes if u dont have sky the only way u can see it is at about 4 in the morning...

EDIT: And that first one should be 22nd June. For some reason it wouldn't update, so I couldn't see that.

Buy the DVDs. By the time season 4 comes out Ch 4 may have realized that Futurama exists.

Futurama is back on C4 next month. Although I think they might just show I Dated A Robot then say it was the last in the series and not show anything else for another six months and instead repeat the new crap episodes of Friends forever more.

It's awesome that Sky are finally showing the new eps. I wonder if by the time they've shown them, if there will be anymore that have aired in the US, to air straight after here?  :)

Yeah I've got the DVDs, but still haven't seen any 4ACV episodes. Thanks for that Smitty, hope they are showing Season 4, I'll only see 3 new episodes but at least it's some!

CGEF says that they assume that Sky're gonna show three repeats after Three Hundred Big Boys, so who knows...

There's a movie on July 6th in the States, something to do with independence, or whatever  :p.

So it looks like we'll be catching up to the US again, and waiting for further episodes.

Say what?  It's been at 7:00 on Sundays for about three years now, and Sky One would probably air all the remaining episodes in a few weeks if FOX would let them.

As for the order in which they're shown, except for the beginning of McSeason 2 (and a Tale of Two Santas) Sky One have shown them in pretty much the same order as FOX.

To jump to Sky's defence, during last half term (a fortnight ago), they showed Futurama every day, they've been showing it three times a day on Saturday and Sunday, and they've been promoting it (I just saw a trail), even if they're not new episodes (which isn't Sky's fault).

Do u ever see a trail for Futurama saying its a brand new episode and when you watch it its old. happened to me and alot of people i knew quite alot?

Never trust Sky to say when there's something new on, in promo form. They probably can't be bothered to make new promo's without the All New bit. And sometimes they even say repeats (such as Enterprise's "Broken Bow" ) are "All New".

The trouble is, Sky have been fucked around by FOX regarding Futurama.  They'd probably have shown all 16 McSeason 5 episodes over the last four months if they'd had the chance, but FOX have apparently blocked their ability to do that.

Is anyone as pissed off as me that the UK TV magazines, not to mention SKY's EPG, all gave away the twist at the end of "The Sting" - that it was Leela, not Fry, who was stung?

To be honest, it wasn't really that much of a suprise to me - it reminded me so much of many Voyager episodes - mostly from Seasons 1-4 (What I like to term the "good" seasons  :p).

Yeah I read that in What's On TV last week and was quite surprised seeing as they ruined the whole episode with just a few words. I mean a couple of TV guides said "The crew battle killer bees" - surely that was enough? Obviously not...

Hi.  I'm new here.  Does anyone else think it stinks that only two channels show futurama in the UK?  Sky is fine if you have access to it, but otherwise you have the inconvenience of Channel 4 repeats and inconsistent times.  More channels should air it cos it's really popular in the UK. Also, does anyone know how to access the easter eggs on the futurama season three DVD box set?  Or any of the others? Thanks.

I gave up on UK TV's scheduling of Futurama long ago.  I've seen 90% of episodes for the first time on the DVDs...

This is the exact problem everywhere, TV execs, the BBFC and others hate Futurama for its content, its cannibalised of good jokes and aired at 8.00 AM in school breaks and gets the same for a 6.00PM viewing (All on Channel 4). The slow paced humor of the first episode may have deterred potential viewers, the sad fact all its run its been compared to the Simpsons and is a sci fi show! Futurama needs a solid and appropriate slot, i dont blame the creators for this blunder, as they made it good, i blame the overly critical reviewers, the closed minded Simpson fans.
Futurama should be relaunched all over the shop at 8.30 PM for the Audience who will watch it.

That's Channel 4.  Sky-One have aired it at a consistent time for the last three years and there have been few cuts.  As for the reviews, nearly all the ones I've seen have been positive.  Some critics even deemed Futurama as better than the Simpsons.

I've seen nearly episode when they first aired on Sky.  And when I missed them, it was because I was on holiday or in hospital, rather than me not knowing what time they were on.

Today's Futurama episode on Sky One was featured in the Daily Mail's Weekend Magazine. It's a 'Must See' episode (the Fransworth Parabox) and they mention Futurama's cancellation. I just thought I'd mention that.

I saw that. The weekend magazine seems to have always liked Futurama. It often gets mentioned in the pick of the week, or must see section.
