I voted "A Tale Of Two Santas". Ken Keeler, you're the man!

I just hope they include Ken Keeler's demoversion of "The Elves Are Back To Work" on the season 4 DVD.

No option for "Parasites Lost"? I'm shocked.

Are you sure there was a song in "Parasites Lost"? If so which character(s) sang it? It might just be that i have a bad memory.

It wasn't a singing song. It was an instrumental. Personally, I like the instrumentals better than the sung songs (not that I don't like the latter). But out of those..? HHRHGB.  :D

I voted for HHRHGB, but Bender's lines in the Elf song are the best lyrics in Futurama songs :

"Why you selfish little bastards
Do you want the kids to think that Santa's just a crummy empty headed jerk?
Then shut your yaps and back to work."

Thanks ddavids.

You mean 'Amazon Women In The Mood' where Zapp commits a massacre on the Kinks' 'Lola'? Kudos to Billy West for singing deliberately out of tune (it's harder than it seems).

Had to go with HHRHGB "We'd treat people like swine and make 'em stand in line, even if nobody paid us." It's all true.

Welcome to PEEL, planetcutie! Stick around. Try the Gocad.

I loved "The Sting"'s "Bee Happy", as it was just so surreal. Especially when it stopped, and everyone was just sat there.

But it's got to go to "How Hermes..." because I'm a sucker for Hermes, and it had a great part:

Zoidberg: They said I probably shouldn't be a surgeon.
Farnsworth: They pooh-poohed my electric frankfurter.
Leela: They said I probably shouldn't fly with just one eye.
Bender: I am Bender, please insert girder.

Close second is the robot Hell song. Beastie Boys rock!

Yes, Bender has great lines in the Elf Song.  Then again, his lines are great in all his songs.  And Hermes' song was really funny.

Robot Hell was great.  Though Hermes can shake it, the Robot Devil had the show-tune/vaundivile (hope I spelled that right) act, very funny.

No mention of Donovan's "Atlanta".
It's a brilliant parody of my second favorite Donovan song.

Hmm, I'll have to go with Robot Hell as of the moment, its the one I can remember the best.
here are a couple of my favorite quotes to the best I can remeber them:

Bender: may be a product of my bad upbringing....
Robot Devil:  Please don't steal from me when I'm singing!

Beastie Boys: yoyo bender we're gonna make some noise, get your hardrive scratched by the beastie boys!

There's so many great songs in Futurama and it's hard to single out a favourite, but I decided to vote "A Tale of Two Santas".

You really should have included Zapp's mangling of "Lola". That one always makes me laugh  :laff:

It was hard to pick just one, but if we're sticking to songs sung by the characters, then ATOTS just edges out HIOR and HHRHGB.  I sing all three in the shower and on the trail  :)

I wonder if XS's low rating is due to people considering only the characters' verses.  The chord progression in the instrumental leadout following it is wonderful.  And it has tubular bells, what's not to like?

Honorable mention: Beck's song just before
"My Broken Friend".  Letting Bender use a vocoder voice was genius.

On a related note, what about other moments where sound and image come together particularly well?  The flashback sequence at the end of Leela's Homeworld broke me up  the first oh I don't know, quite a few times.  And the end of Act I of SP3K.  The horn phrase, drifting into the first few chords of the theme, and Fry looking out the window: "My God... it's the future!"  It gives me goosebumps.
