Character vs. Character

ok im guessing if u like Futurama u like Simpsons so i say two characters, one from the simpsons one from Futurama that i think are at about the same level and you say who u prefere.

1) Homer Simpson or Bender?

There are no comparisions. For a start they are two differnt shows. There are no equivilants.
They are just expressions of the creators, any similarites they bear to each other is purely because they were both made by the same person.
And all those matchups are between major and minor characters so its not fair comparissions.

thats why im seeing who people like better, im only comparing people i think are equal in roles. U say there are no comparisons but David X himself said that Bender was designed as an evil Homer.....

i like gil
he sort of replaced lionel hutz (spelling) because he became the guy who changes jobs frequently and he was a lawyer in one episode. when i found out that phil hartman died i totally freaked, he was awesome (in other shows and movies too).

I'd take pretty much any Futurama character over any Simpsons character. There are exceptions, like Harold Zoid, but only a few

Zoidberg! Zoidberg! Zoidberg! Christ, if anyone picks Flanders over Zoidberg I'll rip off their pinheads and spit down their neck.

Although don't think that's a fair comparison, you at least had some characters with things in common before, thems apples and oranges.

Also I don't agree with the Bender as evil omer anology, sure that's what he says now but they're actually very different, Bender's a whole lot smarter for one, more cunning, Homer is sweet natured and stupid, there's no real personality resemblance.
