I couldn't stand the series of "Citizen Snips" jokes in LTH. He's a crab, he snips things, we get the point.
And for the record, I really liked Pharaoh to Remember.

thanx for all the posts, sorry for expressing my disgust for a pharaoh to remember but i just thought it was really weak compared to all the others, i thought the writers thought screw it lets just go to a different planet and screw any real plot.
i dont really like that randy man in Futurama either the one played by John Dimaggio what does everyone else think?

The scene in "The Cryonic Woman" where Bender pulls out an arm belonging to the PM of Norway, now what was this all about?

The heart at the end of "Insane in the Mainframe", now that was funny...

there arent too many i dont like, i dont find any of them to be outstandingly dumb (to a point where i cant get a snicker out of it) but one of the jokes i didnt find all that funny was in Jurassic Bark
Fry : "Well Its not right to make my dead pet an excibit. Thats like digging up Lassie and putting on display in the Louve (spelt that wrong, sorry)"
Amy : "Lassie is on display in the Louve"
Fry : "I know, i was delibratly descibing a similar situation"
That quote obtains the standard of "Meh"

EDIT : I would also like to express my fondness for that particular episode (A pharaoh to remember)
And i would also like to point out to SwanMan3000 that i didnt like the episode "A Clone of my Own" for a long time but i only ever watched it once, but after i had watched it again i loved it. Sorry if it sounds like im forcing my beliefs on you or if you have seen it many times and still hate it well fair enough, nobody's perfect   :p

I liked most of the episodes mentioned with bad jokes.  And since I like Leela, of course A Leela Of Her Own was good, not best thou.  I can't really think of horrible jokes.  They all go from a scale of 1 to 10-
lowest are at 5, highest PAST 10!

I didn't really like Hermes' "I didn't want to know!" in The Sting.  Nothing against Phil LaMarr, who's a really good voice actor, but teh way he said "You don't want to know what happens then, oh my, no" just (to me) gave away what was about to happen.

the "i give up" joke was stupid; i also hated the entire first segment of AOI2. bender as a human was just soooo lame and predictable. i'm not usually a fan of gross out gags, but even if i was, i wouldn't have liked the ones they used. they were just so crude and dumb; that sketch seemed like something from familly guy or something. ugh.
otherwise, there aren't many memoraably bad jokes in futurama. there are a few episodes that just aren't that funny. my pick for that category would have to be 'a leela of her own' (i thought 'a pharoah to remember' was pretty mediocre.)

ok after watching it again i thought it was not as bad as once thought. A cone of my own is excellent, some of the best lines ever.

Who's everyones worst character on Futurama? i dont really like Hermes and he's never made me laugh- id quite like to see him die if the ever made a film etc.
so anyway Who's everyones worst character on Futurama?

i seem to find that alot of hermes jokes often fall flat. i can't come up with any examples at the moment but it is usually that his one liners are painfully obvious and predictable.

Another obvious, predictable and lame joke was in Time Keeps On Slippin'.

KIDS: Stupid senior citizens. Why should we have to pay for their social security benefeits?

*Time skips forward and kids are old men*

OLD MEN: I deserve free money!

I saw that joke coming from a mile away, and it was just so lame.

I think the weird endings, like in Insain in the Mainframe, are just one of the things that make Futurama so.... FUTURAMA-like, that make it so damn funny and the lame jokes that Fry makes sometimes, like the I give up-thing and those stupid remarks he makes just gives Futurama the thing it needs, if you know what I mean.

Fry and his stupid remarks, Bender and his typical humor, OH, I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT!

I think that what some of you call 'bad jokes' is what gives Futurama a special place in my heart.

Some lame jokes that I always found to be, well, lame, are from Jurassic Bark.  For one, that thing where Fry said that Seymour humped a saxophonist's leg.  Also, that part where Seymour was peeing/pooping in the tomato sauce, as well as other jokes involving poor sanitation at the pizza place.  Those jokes I found sick, tasteless, and unfunny.  Maybe they would've fit in South Park, but they have no place in Futurama.

Zapp jokes are so bad they're fantastic!!

Zapp:"You have skin as soft as a velvet child, what lotion do you use?"
Le'Lemon:"Pert and popular sir"
Zapp:"Kiff, get me a crate of 'pert and popular'"
Kiff: -sigh- "What should I do with your other lotion, sir?"
Zapp:"Go rub it on some poor homeless guy with dry elbows..."

Utterly superb!

I've not really given much thought to what the worst joke is, I tend to remember the good stuff, and forget the rest. Which isn't much.

BTW Cool av, FemJesse

not totally sure but didn't they do a similar joke on the simpsons, with grampa simpson?

i like all futurama jokes (even bad ones), but one intentionally bad one was:

Kid: it's just like (mentions some skateboarding like game), only half the time someone dies.

Fry: Oh, so it's a little safer then skateboarding *cheesy grin*

I mentioned this elsewhere but what the hell. In MArs University, Leela says "I didn't know monkeys could cry", and Gunther says "They can't -it's all the hat!" and starts crying even more. This is not just the worst joke in Futurama, it even beats some of the bad ones from later episodes of teh Simpsons. In fact, If I recall correctly, when I posted it before some people refused to believe it was a joke. As I said before though, the timing and structure are conclusive in my view. It was intended to be funny that Lela tried to comfort him and only ended up reminding him of wy he was upset in the first place. Youi can see the philosophy behind it, but it's still unspeakable.
By the way, I love the ending to Insane in the Mainframe. It's another example of Bender's loveable naivety combined with Futurama black-humourousness.

Every joke in "The Honking." None of them were funny. Seriously. The only one that was close was the mirrored binary.

Some of the worst jokes are in the deleted scenes, for exmaple when ZapBrannigan goes to sleep and tells Kif to wake him when he gets to the top. Actually that's not bad. HAHAHAHAHAHA

I have to agree on the verbal abuse thing. Aside from that, 2-D Blacktop is a darn fine episode.

Another thing that sticks out is the nudity in "Near-Death Wish". Leela and Amy cringing at the Professor's bath time wasn't funny at all. On the flip side, I find it hilarious when they're totally comfortable being naked around each other. The shower scene in Bender's Game is a good example.

It was a parody of the forced story tropes from racing movies. They try to give their 2 dimension characters depth by giving them some sort of tragic backstory (generally a pretty tame one, because they're usually PG-13 rated) and it's normally very, very badly written and done so in a way that the audience couldn't possibly give a shit about it, but all the characters IN the film really, REALLY do.

I'd agree it wasn't very well-executed, but it definitely wasn't the worst joke ever.

I'd have to go with the Professor's dribbling line from Time Keeps on Slippin'. I love that episode, but holy shit that line makes me groan every time.
