How long has this court order preventing Bender from singing been in effect?  Is it punishment for his fraud on his tour with Beck?

I think it was just a joke dude, do you really think bender cares about breaking the law anyway? and remember also that it is a coma induced dream.

Wrong. Bender is:
1057 (His head)
4 (His body).

I would think he has to obey court orders, just like his patriotism unit.

1: Normally, no, I don't think Bender cares about breaking the law, but he says "Court order" like it's the only reason he isn't singing right now.  To my ear, anyway.  But I'm not normal.

2:  Oh yeah, it *was* a hallucination.  Good point.  Would you believe I completly forgot that?  No?  Wow, that's gonna make explaining this a whole lot harder.

Yeah but in all fairness if that was programmed into him surely an inability to break laws would be to, heheh, and we all know how that wacky little scamp likes breaking laws, heheheh, oh does he ever.

You also have to take into consideration that even though he likes breaking the law he still abides by court orders.  Like when he was sentenced to a robot asylum and also when he was sentenced to death when he was Santa.  Also, somewhat followed court orders when he was well below minimum alcohol level even though he later breaks that law... but only out of reason that he knew he could get away with it.
