After being dumped by former dutch channel FOX 8 now finally Futurama is back in Holland!

Browsing the channels i stumbled upon 'The Honking' last sunday.

After checking the new TV guide i found out it is on every sunday on NET5 at 16.30 (local time)

However as they started with the honking I have no idea what episode will be on next sunday.

Don't forget to watch!

That's good news! Certainly when you consider how unknown Futurama is here in the Netherlands,it's quite a nice suprise!

But, I think it's great that they're showing it again and I love to watch it every week, hopefully we will get a bunch of Futurama-fans here in Holland too!!!!

For the sake of our non-dutch audience i'll write this in english

I order all my stuff in the UK, Amazon.co.uk for the DVD's (through the CGEF link of course)

I also found a trader in the UK through e-bay where I ordered the action figures. So now I'm probably the only guy in Holland who has these  :)

I wonder how many Futurama fans there are in Holland. So please let youself be known!

<- your southern neighbour

If you 're willing to cross the border anyway:

In Belgium they sometimes have them at Free Record Shop, but you have to be lucky.
They also have them in FNAC (Antwerpen, Gent, Brussel). FNAC is bigger and more reliable, but it 'll cost you a couple of € more.

I will also write in English, because I looked at all the amzon.com's and in the german one it's the cheapests, but I can't pay with my bankcard if I'm not from Germany, so that's stupid.

I want to go to Aachen, Aken to buy Futurama DVD's, there they are always very cheap, I live in Maastricht, so it's in the neighbouhood.

Thanks for the tips, I love this messageboard! I hope new Futurama-fans in Holland will be born when they watch the series on net5!

Hi Fellow Futurama Fans!

I'm also a huge fan of the futurama series and the proud owner of the Futurama Season 1 & 2 & 3 DVD box. (Bought Season 3 two days ago, and its AWESOME!).

I didn't know that there are much Dutch Futurama fans here. It's nice to know that NET5 broadcasts the series again to the dutch audience, and making more fans (hopefully).

And the list of Dutch Futurama fans goes on :)

I've also got the season 1, 2 and 3 DVD's. But most people here in Holland don't even know what Futurama is. Hopefully this will change soon :)

1. What kind of fucked up time is that to air Futurama? Well, better than last year's 7.30 in the morning fiasco, I guess
2. That's actually the first time they're going beyond season 2 here. Too bad I already have them on DVD now
3. I order DVD's on Play.com, as there are no shipping costs and it always seems to have the cheapest prices
4. Futurama merchandise, like the action figures, I mostly get from the german eBay. It's easy to pay them if you have Rabobank Internet Banking

Wow, turns out there's more then one fan in the low countries.

BTW. Matty, didn't know it was on last year, I only remember they showed the first season (and even advertised it) back when FOX had a dutch channel.

Guess there won't be many viewers next sunday, as the weather will be great.

(Hurrah, I'm no longer a poppler)
